Anyone who thinks that there's no racism and no racial division in the USA could learn a lot in Ferguson, Mo.

But they'd have to keep their eyes, ears and minds open.

I predict that some people in the USA will learn nothing from the Ferguson tragedy and similar events because they have their eyes, ears and minds closed.

    You're right.

Some people will never learn. Easily manipulated and influenced by manufactured narratives and " witness accounts ".

It guarantees more candidates like Barrack Obama and more riots in places like Ferguson.

Foley was beheaded by ISIS. The reaction from US is tremendous. Michael Brown was shot dead by police. It's still a controvertible case. Because Michael Brown is a black and the killer is a police?

Unfortunately Michael Brown didn't get a trial, he got 6 bullets and he's going under the ground.
That is true, and very sad. We don't know all the circumstances surrounding that tragic event. It is very possible that the officer felt that he had no other choice. It is also very possible that the officer over reacted and committed a crime himself. Again, we don't know. If the officer did in fact have no other choice than to use deadly force, it makes the death of Brown no less tragic. It would, however, make the persecution of the officer less legitimate, much less the prosecution and rush to judgement. One life ha been lost, there is no need to ruin what is left of the other life before we know what really happened.
Everything in your life is a reflection of a choice you have made. If you want a different result, don't blame someone else, or expect others to make a change, you should stop complaining and make a different choice. Remember, the circumstances of your birth don't determine the outcome of your life.

Meanwhile in Chicago, 7 more shot 21 injured. Where is their rally?

If you go to it you might want to wear full body armor.

That's just the point...It ain't going to happen. And why? Because that is just black's killing other blacks....It does nothing for the narrative that we are just a hopelessly racist country, and need to give up all of our founding principles in order to make it happen...Well, scoff if you must shrub, but Europe is well on its way to being lost to this, I'd like for it not to happen here as well.

He was already college educated and can speak three other languages (aside from English). If his prejudice against American blacks was bad when he first came here, it has gotten worse. He has little or no use for most African Americans and (in his own words) their "you owe me" or "gimme" attitude. He refuses to do business with government entities least he gets confined to their terms and conditions, such as Affirmative Action. He wants to hire the best without being hindered by excessive regulations.

There is an unseen conflict between the new Africans who are moving to the US and the blacks who have lived here for generations. These are diametric clashes of beliefs, values and attitude. I have seen this happen more than a few times.

Your Nigerian friend should be nice to the African-Americans. They could be the decendants of his long lost cousins who came here in chains 300 years ago. It's only by the grace of God that he isn't in their shoes.

While this comment does not raise to the level of racist, it sure is prejudicial....it's as if the hand of (a) God had something to do with the abduction of Africans for slaves. I think not.

There should now never be a trial despite any and all findings as the media, the president and his AG have so tainted the story with black prejudice the law officer cannot get the fair trial he deserves.
