Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150:507]

Re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

Okay, I am not going to read 48 pages of posts, but does anyone think that there is something wrong with our media? The first report of this that I saw was from CBS News and it basically said that the "Gentle Giant" was surrendering with his hands up, then the cop pumped him full of lead. My first thought was that the cop was a murderer. Thanks, CBS News!

Now, let me rephrase my question... Does anyone on the left think there is anything wrong with that report?

Re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

I wouldn't call someone who has been shot multiple times a healthy adult male, but don't let facts get in the way.

he was healthy before he got shot now wasnt he?......thats why het got shot...charging the cop....dont let facts get in the way

Right!

Everyone I know charges a cop while he is shooting at them. :lamo

He was not shooting when he apparently started charging. Why bother comemnting if you haven't even followed the basics of the reporting.

That has been primarily where my anger has been. The "news" has misrepresented the facts, under reported things, an of course the "gentle giant" image. Just like the baby pictures with Trayvon. Or the edited call footage. It is an Fing disgrace

I've followed it; seems like you haven't.

if you charge at a cop armed or not your are going to get shot...he's not going to stand there and let you bum rush him.......

Re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

Mike Brown was shot in the back of the head. You have yet to show evidence that the shots came from the front.

Here is more evidence that Brown was shot in the back of the head.

"The bullet that struck Michael Brown fatally in the head was moving from a back to front direction, and Brown appeared to have fallen straight forward onto the ground after he was shot, one of the medical examiners who conducted an independent autopsy tells The Daily Caller." (Examiner: Bullet Moved From Back To Front Of Brown's Head | The Daily Caller)

"Baden and Parcells conducted the independent autopsy, and confirmed that six bullets entered Brown's body, with one having entered back to front, and that there were no signs of struggle in Brown's shooting death." (Independent Autopsy Finds 'No Signs of Struggle' in Michael Brown Death - The Wire)
You were already proven wrong.
You are not understanding what you are reading.
All shots came from the front. As was shown.
As the stated by the examiners. As shown.

I believe that was my point.

Based on your comment, you haven't.

The two men then began to flee and Wilson gave chase, ordering them to stop, Josie said. In her account, Brown then turned around and began to taunt Wilson, saying he would not shoot them. Then Brown charged at Wilson at full speed, at which point Wilson opened fire.

“All of the sudden, [Brown] just started to bum rush him,” Josie told radio host Dana Loesch. “He just started coming at him, full-speed, and so [Wilson] just started shooting, and [Brown] just kept coming.”

Re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

So, the "gentle giant" robs a store and roughs up the owner (I'm sure in a very gentle fashion though), then walks in the middle of the road, causing traffic problems. When the cop shows up, he attacks him.

Was this a suicide by cop situation? Seems the guy was trying to force a confrontation with police, with no intention of going quietly.

I clearly showed that those who conducted the autopsy saw that the shots had come from front to back. You have yet to refute that. All you have been doing is posting the autopsy picture again and again.

It seems that it is you that doesn't understand what they are reading.

And this is the only account of what happened? Did you hear the other witnesses?

Re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

The shooter cop didn't even write much of anything on the incident report. The Ferguson PD didn't either. Just name and date. Kind of weird.

A fill in the blanks (w/lies) later type of report.

Bunch of Ferguson old cops sittin' around a round table scratching their heads, saying to each other, now, what happened?

Re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

" Michael Brown could have survived five of the six gunshots fired at him by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, but the last shot to the top of his head killed him, a privately conducted autopsy found.

The two shots that hit Brown in the head were likely among the last that hit him and traveled from the back of his head to the front, indicating that Brown's head was tilted forward, either because he was bending over or falling over, forensic expert Dr. Michael Baden said at a news conference today. " (Michael Brown Could Have Survived First 5 Shots, Last Shot Killed Him - ABC News)

Dr. Baden is a renowned pathologist, and I would trust what he has to say, however what you chose to highlight from Baden is intentionally taking him out of context. I think you are doing that to further the notion that this was some sort of intentional execution. The pertinent information that Baden was talking about is that it is "inconclusive" what exactly was happening when those bullets entered Brown's body. Baden says:

"A gunshot wound to his arm could show either that he was hit while walking away from the shooter with his back to the officer, or that he was facing the shooter with his arm up, either in a surrender position, defensive position, or other motion, Baden said."

You chose not to include this part of the article, why? Is it what I said? You have your mind made up that a 6 year decorated veteran of the force, with NO, NOT ONE disciplinary action ever taken against this officer, so tell me. Why would he do this? If what you are projecting here is indeed what comes out? A repressed racist that couldn't hold it in any longer and snapped when Brown attacked him? What?

Nah, I'm not buying it.

How about you stop with your mindless ranting conspiracy theories? The question being debated was whether or not Brown was shot in the back of the head twice. Try to pay attention before looking like a dumb ass.

Re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

He bumped his head on the car door when Brown pushed it back at him. No one was "beaten".
That was enough to piss Wilson off to the point where he wanted to kill an unarmed surrendering kid.
So that is exactly what he did.

and you know this how?

Re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

If you're not debating, why are you at DEBATE POLITICS and posting on the website?

I was linking the article for iguanaman:
Where are the dash cam videos or even pictures of these supposed injuries? No where to be found. So stop the hoaxing.

Re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

And this is the only account of what happened? Did you hear the other witnesses?

The ones that claimed he was shot in the back, or the ones that claimed the officer tried to pull a 300 pound man through a car window? One claim we know was false the other is just ridiculous. Or do you mean the 12 witnesses that largely agree with the officeres claims?

Regardless, it shows that the guy did not have to be shot at before charging, as you originalyl claimed.

You purposefully left out highly relevant information.

Why ?

Dr Baden NEVER said the bullets came from the back, only your HACK source said that.

Why the purposeful misinterpretation ?

Why are you being disingenuous ?

Since you obviously know all the fact, you should decide the case. Oh wait, that isn't your job is it? I guess we will just have to wait and let the true professionals sort this out.

Re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

no, wrong on both counts. First there's the investigation, if the investigation clears the officer of wrongdoing there is no trial, no matter what holder thinks.

"""If"""

Who's Sharpton?

I'm not familiar with that name.

Google it. Google is your friend. It is a good tool to prevent a person from making themselves look like ignorant. How come you are the only person in the whole freaking world that doesn't know who Sharpton is?
