Well, it looks like we're going to be able to continue this discussion for quite a while longer - Ferguson Prosecutor Says No Decision Until October on Shooting - Bloomberg

So the seething and unrest goes underground instead. Is this Holder's decision? What about the right to a speedy trial? How many new revelations are they expecting to surface in the next two months? It's being delayed, but why?

re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

You don't think there would be outcry if the victim was white?

No. There wouldn't be.

Uh, to make sure there is a fair trial, and that the police officer isn't railroaded by Holder to further the race argument! By the way Holder, and Obama are displaying horrible racism in this case, how about using those forty fbi agents to investigate the knockout game being perpetrated on older white people?

re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

While I believe the story I can't believe this info hasn't been leaked or provided by the police. Had this been mentioned from the beginning I seriously doubt the town of Ferguson would be dealing with this chaos. The police point out he met with detectives on 2 separate occasions but FAIL to mention the guy had been physically injured?! That should have been the first information they gave out, not a 10 days after the friggin incident. sheesh

p.s. if this all turns out to be true I defy you to find a single brown defender admit they were wrong. my guess is they will yell "george bush!" and go running into the sewers.

Once an internal investigation is triggered the police don't have a say in what info they release. It's up to the DA and in this case the AG and the FBI.

The media of course and the public are under no such restriction and can say pretty much whatever drak they can come up with.

A Fox News quoter worries about ****-stirring? What's a black eye between friends when you could be facing a murder charge?

I'm the one worried about stirring **** - so where's the fox quotes? By the way I Hate Fox News!

However, one thing for sure, when there is tragedy you're right in there with snide posts.

Read the article before you make yourself look like more of a fool with more stupid questions.

@ approximately 49-50 seconds into the interview, the chief says he's been in contact with officer Browns family.

Is this a doctored video you're talking about in the link?

Still doesn't answer the question another DP member asked, where is the video or images from the police cruiser dash cam?

No need to be obtuse either.

re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

Where are the dash cam videos or even pictures of these supposed injuries? No where to be found. So stop the hoaxing.

Good point and question.

Weve had "Truthers" and "Birthers" and you've just highlighted a new delusional, paranoid, mental derangement to find a name for.

He does have some pretty ****ing good one liners, doesn't he?

re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

If true then this shooting was legit

I want to see the police cruiser dash cam video, and pictures of that poor beat up assassin too.

Assassin??? Let me guess, you think this cop just decided to kill some unarmed black kid because he is just another racist whitey. You liberals have lost what little minds you had left.

What evidence do you have that a friend punched him in the face to help him on this case.... because that is exactly what you are implying.

When you have to go so far as to make up convoluted stories to keep supporting your point of view, maybe its time to take a good look in the mirror at the type of person you are that you refuse to acknowledge your initial beliefs were wrong so much that you are willing to make up stories to convince yourself its true.

In TV shows, people who show these excellent qualities end up in the mental health ward.... just saying.

I rarely watch videos. My brain doesn't lock onto information as good as it does if I read it. I will quote from the article that was in the first post on the thread:
"The source also said the dashboard and body cameras, which might have recorded crucial evidence, had been ordered by Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson, but had only recently arrived and had not yet been deployed."

I have the feeling no matter how much factual information you get you have made up your mind and the guy will always be an "assassin" as far as you are concerned, even if exonerated.

re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

Did you hear what Governor Nixon said last night?

I believe last I heard from him was him saying the cop needed to be arrested and they needed to come down harshly on him. Of course, Nixon no more has an idea what went on than any of the other idiots that have flooded the state to pad their wallets.

re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

The cop, who put 6-bullets into an unarmed man, started something that he wasn't able to handle.

The world would be better off if he had called in sick and stayed home that day.

re: Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown[W:150]

If Wilson's defense is able to provide a medical report from the day of the accident
confirming an eye socket fracture then there is no way he will be convicted.

That is, even if forensics does not detect any gunpowder residue in his patrol car,
a negative finding which would otherwise reduce his credibility to near the point
where he would be in serious jeopardy.

If this article is accurate, they're going to have a hard time indicting Officer Wilson. If the dash and body cams have any footage, along with testimonies and corroborating evidence that exonerate him, will this become a 'flash point' for more riots/protests?

Huh, I thought the eye socket injury was a complete fabrication (or so I was told).
