FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) – A Missouri grand jury could begin hearing evidence Wednesday in the shooting death of a black teenager by a white police officer in suburban St. Louis.

St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Bob McCulloch is overseeing the case that will determine whether Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson faces criminal charges for the Aug. 9 shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown.

McCulloch spokesman Ed Magee said Monday that prosecutors would try to start presenting evidence Wednesday, the regular once-a-week meeting date for the grand jury.

Cases often are presented to grand jurors in a single day. But Magee says Brown’s case is complicated and will take longer, though he gave no specific timeline.

Brown’s death has sparked violent clashes between police and protesters who want the officer to be charged.

    That is pretty quick.

Mornin Excon. Yeah I heard BO peep has sent Holder who has arrived in Missouri. "What".....is he there to make sure that BO gets the ruling they want?

What do you think about the MS Media deflecting with this BS to cover BO Peep and all the Bad news coming his way?

Luckily, Eric Holder is there to save the day. He hasn't been to the border or to Chicago or Detroit, but he's Johnny-on-the-spot now.

WOW, justice being served in a timely fashion is nearly unheard of in most cases,
and sending in Holder to be sure the agenda is organized shall be interesting.

    Yes, "interesting."

Disclaimer: I disapproved of Holder's being AG in the first place. His "priorities" were clear immediately, and his contempt of Congress has been brazen. I think he's unfit.

So they either have enough to charge Wilson or they want to go through the motions to expedite resolution of this issue.

They may charge Wilson just to keep Beirut from breaking out. The facts seem to point to the cop's innocence.

Or not and just deal with the chaos now instead of the chance of an acquittal down the road and a re-flash of violence.

If this is confirmed as a recent injury, Wilson's version is further corroborated and might explain the sporadic shot pattern.

Another drawn-out Trayvon Martin case should be avoided if possible, I agree.
