Inside the house, out on the lawn, it is all being at home. Show me where the curfew requires you to be inside the physical structure of the residence.

Wait.. So I thought the media was trying to portray the 7 arrested as rowdy. (not said directly but it sure seemed that way)

Turns out 5 of the people arrested that night were smoking in a car on private property??? Ummmm. If this is true then all the leadership in this police force needs to be stripped and re-established by the community. This is really starting to sound like some NAZI crap. Are the police trying to inflame the local populace on purpose or something? Who the **** pulls a gun out on someone for sitting in a car? Is curfew enough to aim a deadly weapon at someone??
Oh, lookie lookie. Here we are again in post-racial America dealing with yet another double-stupid racial conflict. One hundred black men killed in St. Louis this year and the one guy killed by a cop sets everyone off. Holder and Obama pandering to these guys is just making things worse. Where were they when the other 99 guys were killed? Are their lives worthless because they were mostly killed by other blacks? Well?

Every. Damn. Thing. Obama does turns to crap. I hope the country will last until we can be rid of him, then maybe we can pick up the pieces.

You are just playing a stupid game.
Anybody intelligent enough knows what curfew means.

So the people of Ferguson are stuck with the option of a tyranny of the masses or a tyranny of the state. So far the masses have managed to shut down the town and destroy several properties owned and operated by people wholly uninvolved in the point of their frustration. If you want to see that continue I'm all for it.

There doesn't need to be either based upon the complete turnaround the state police had when they came in and took over from the town police.

The mobs thinking they were appeased was not a complete turn around.
When they saw they were not getting what the wanted, they turned right back around and started with the same **** all over again.

If everyone is outside at 2 a.m. it becomes difficult for the police to do their job protecting businesses because their attention to spread to thin. And of course they need to assume in that situation that everyone is innocent.

The whole point of a curfew is to separate those intent on breaking the law from peaceful people. It is not a permanent regime. The government asks people to stay off the street to give a situation time to settle and to make it more clear for the government who the instigators are --- those who are out on the street during curfew, presumably, are up to no good.

I don't have much problem with these arrests.

There was a curfew. That means, "get your ass inside your own house".

Sitting in a car, in someone elses driveway isn't, "being at home"
