We belie all of them, so I'm figuring they are all pretty useless. Dittohead not! posted this analysis...

There you go. The Ten Commandments as a basis for modern law.
But I'd go so far as to say that even the three he thinks are part of our society are not, and are instead conditionally accepted in our modern society, so really none of them apply, and it's an entirely useless list.

    No, not really.

Because first, posting the Ten Commandments in a public building doesn't " make laws respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof " and second, our Country has a History believe it or not.

If you want to ignore that because it threatens you somehow thats on you.

So, honoring your father and mother is out of bounds in your view?

Absolutely, my parents were mean, hateful people, I wouldn't honor them if they were the last people on earth. And I wouldn't expect anyone with bad parents to honor them, and in so doing diminish themselves.

We're speaking in generalities here, not your specifics...

Generally honor is earned, and being a parent doesn't grant it to anyone simply for that reason. Now why do you need to have everything whittled down to such degree? Do you lack comprehension skills?

I have no problem with comprehension. I'm trying to discern what issue you might have with the Ten Commandments...

I have no problem with the 10 Commandments being on a public building, as long as those of the Muslim faith are allowed to also put verses from the Quran on it.
