Re: American Forces Said to Bomb ISIS Targets in Iraq
I am betting that Monte never seriously studied history and the failures of appeasement by the likes of Neville Chamberlain.
Are Barrack Obama and Joe Biden among those fewer and fewer Americans? If so they haven't mentioned it. But if fewer people believe it, or more, what has that to do with the truth? Does believing make it so?
When Obama declared the War on Terror to be over, did you believe that?
Do they believe that the world would have been better with Saddam Hussein? These Americans are frightened of the unknown and wish they were safe from the Islamists out to get them. But the fact is that these terrorists have always been out to get innocent people throughout the world. These Americans you speak of (and others) don't understand that going to war is one thing and winning the war quite another. Terrorists will do their best to attack nations around the world, not just Americans, in an attempt to spread their version of Islam. Your policy of running and hiding may make you feel more secure temporarily but they'll still pull you out from under that bed and treat you as they did Danny Pearl or Mike Foley.
