America has done more for the Muslim world than any other country on the face of the earth. There is one thing these people want and when you finally realize that it will be too late as usual. There is no central govt, just a large group of radicals with one goal in mind. I just hope that they get people like you rather than my family first to see if you can negotiate with them.

The Kurds for one would be good. And more moderate Sunis and Shia. Any clergy that holds influence but not as radical.

Anyone who doesn't really want them. They are not a mighty power. They just have a power void in Iraq, created by the destabilization of war.

As I said, it's easier to destory, so the lazy go there right off the bat. but as I showed, historically, we've done better with actual hard working diplomacy.

Self grandizing appeals to a certain audience, but I doubt it does much to convince that part of the world. They do have some actual real issues with us. You won't convince them by just saying we're great!

Are you really this naive? How many people have to be headed for not converting for you to realize that you don't negotiate with evil?

Our actions should speak louder than words but words seem to be what you buy. You totally ignore that America has never demanded land or oil in any war we have ever participated in but we have freed millions. Thousands have died for Muslims and don't recall us getting any oil fields for it. You buy what you are told and totally ignore history.

No, conservatives are those who want to maintain the status quo - whether it was segregation or anything else. The fact that they were Democrats doesn't make them less conservative. The biggest collection of right wing assholes you could possibly think of were Southern Democrats. Thankfully, after the passage of the Civil Rights Act, most of them became Republicans.

Hawks and war mongers will not concede that Muslims in the Middle East could actually have some legitimate issues with the US. We have minded our own p's & q's, and have been a completely benevolent super power and this anger they have towards us is inexplicable.

You, my friend, are part of the problem. Your hatred for Republicans is a sickness. We all are Americans and most of us understand personal responsibility and the role of the Federal Govt. You seem to have no concept of either and believe the Federal Government's role is to provide you whatever you need or want. Apparently you have no idea where that money comes from nor do you have any understanding that it was the Republicans that passed the civil rights act. It is sad to read your garbage.
