America's Fed Up: Obama Approval Rating Hits All-Time Low, Poll Shows [W:256]

When people are trying to say he is the worst president in modern history you HAVE to compare it to past presidents such as Bush. Duh, maybe you can post more pathetic rhetoric later.

Exactly, you are arguing Obama is marginally better than the president you think is the worst ever. This is funny.

The bottom line to all this is simple.

Obama thinks he was elected King. He thinks that getting elected is an affirmation to do pretty much whatever the hell he wants, Constitution and country be damned. The wuss thinks he's the only president in history to get push back from Congress, and he lacks the know-how and work ethic to do anything outside of his Chicago-political tactics.

If he doesn't have to adhere to the Constitution, then why should we? It's toilet paper. It's each for their own, pistols at 20 paces. Let 'er rip. Last one standing wins.

Nobody likes a dictator.

It was George Bush that first saw the constitution as an impediment, and because you guys let him get away with it then, we see more of it now!

Speaking of the constitution and a court ruling against Him, Bush had this to say.

"I strongly disagree with that document. Strongly disagree," President Bush said. The president called the Constitution, "out of touch with 21st century terror."
"Now look, here's the Constitution, it was written 200 years ago. They didn't have this kind of a threat. They didn't have to be adaptive. They made all these restricting rules, and there's no way to change it. It is out of place in this century, in this fight. Al-queda doesn't care about it, so we can't either."
As if to underscore Bush's point, Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga) added, "If the appeal continues and this decision's upheld, then we'll have to set policy that does comply with the Constitution. This takes away a vital tool in our war on terror. If we cannot sink to the level of Stalin and Hussein, how can we fight back?"
The White House's argument in support of the program is that Mr Bush's role as commander-in-chief of US forces gave him, "the inherent power to violate not only the laws of the Congress but the first and fourth amendments of the constitution", according to White House Spokesman Tony Snow.

Again, please me where in my quotes I said Obama was marginally better than Bush. NOWHERE, I thought so. I do believe I even argued in this very thread that it doesn't matter WHICH president was the worst because BOTH were horrible.

See this is what happens when someone like you just posts partisan crap and doesn't read the thread. You're dismissed son.

Should we really care who the worst President is or was? There's no trophy for that.

I haven't liked a single one of them. They are just necessary evil cogs in the workings of a corrupt government.

After complaining about Congress, the WAPO opinion page said ...

"…that doesn’t grant the president license to tear up the Constitution. As Mr. Obama himself said last fall: “If, in fact, I could solve all these problems without passing laws in Congress, then I would do so. But we’re also a nation of laws.” To act on his own, the president said, would violate those laws.

Mr. Obama now seems to be jettisoning that stance in the name of rallying his political base. He is considering extending temporary protection from deportation to millions of illegal immigrants, including the parents of U.S.-born children and others who have lived in the United States for years. Conceivably, this would give Democrats a political boost in 2016. Just as conceivably, it would trigger a constitutional showdown with congressional Republicans, who could make a cogent argument that Mr. Obama had overstepped his authority.

The president should think twice. Some of the same Democrats and pro-immigrant advocates urging him to protect millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation would be outraged if a Republican president took a similarly selective approach to enforcing the laws — say, those that guarantee voting rights or prohibit employment discrimination. Mr. Obama’s instincts — “we’re also a nation of laws” — were and remain correct."

Frustration over stalled immigration action doesn

Like they say ... if enough people tell you you're drunk ... lie down.

None of what you said addressed what I said in my quote. Yeah, you should take your own advice and lie down.

I wasn't the one bragging, only pointed out that Lincoln waged actual war on Americans. Which you seem to be happy about.

I'm sad that the rebels chose to fight a losing fight, but nobody ever claimed the South was intelligent. You live in Florida, right?

Exactly, all it shows is that we have a corrupt government that is supported by BOTH the Dems and Reps.

Damn right I live in Florida. Clearly you know nothing of Civil War history. So, just keep rambling and being stupid.

You would give your left eye to live here. Admit it, your "hate" of the south is nothing more than jealousy.

I live in the South. Now that this area of the country is dominated by right-wing knuckle-draggers, I can't wait to leave.

I'm glad you like that mosquito-infested swamp you call a state. One thing in your favor however, medical marijuana will be available in Florida before long, so maybe you can get the medication you so badly need.

Wow, all the hate out of one little man. I'd be pissed to if I all I could afford was a Kawisloppy.

I cant wait for you to leave, please. Take as many as you can fit in your Civic with you.

Rush? You mean the guy who called Obama the "magic negro" said Obama's election would make race relations worse? I'm shocked

Lol !

Low information strikes again !

No actually it was the LA Times that FIRST called Obama a " Magic Negro ".

In March 2007.

Rush just parodied the article.

It really is too bad that people like Jackson, and Sharpton turned their experience into an extortion racket rather than using it to actually help their community...As for the age old excuse of using race to deflect criticism, it is just plain lazy.

You're claim fits Sharpton better than Jackson, but it's important to note we all don't have the same experiences. We used to say when I was younger to walk in another person's shoes before you criticize too much. For those who have benefited the most to say to those who have benefited the least to quite whining and playing victim is rather arrogant no matter who does it. While I'm responding to you, I mean this across the board. I can't imagine that anyone really believes all racism is dead and buried.
