If you think Obama's race tars all black candidates, why would bad white presidents not tar their entire race? Thinking Obama has not been a good President is a valid point of view, but I don't think saying that his failure affects all black candidates is.

Reconstruction would have been different had Lincoln lived. The mistakes were partially the fault of Johnson.

Since when is worship, admiration, coddling, and respect a perk of the presidency????

Carson doesn't have a shot, at least not in 2016.

More partisan drivel. Obama's highest approval has been 69% and his lowest 40%, that's no huge swing. Talk about dropping the bloom, Bush's highest was 90% and he crashed out at 22%!

Well, I'll tell ya one thing that does, and that is when Obama was elected many saw their vote as the advent of shrugging off the yoke of racism. This was supposed to be the 'post racial' period of America when we rightfully saw action instead of color. But you know what we get from progressives? Anything we legitimately oppose immediately leads to a charge of racism by you people. Even in this thread from you to me here, you are right on the verge of letting that charge loose....And I can assure you I am not saying that in a racial way, but if the thing that many take away is that they can't criticize policy without being called racist, then he is doing damage to another black man running in the future.
Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

Again, that wasn't Bush, it was the military that put up the sign. And, in fact, the mission was accomplished, but you liberals don't understand the difference between a mission, a battle, and a war.

I didn't say that bush* said it. I just used it to identify the speech, and I was right to do so as demonstrated by the fact that you know *exactly* which speech I'm referring to.
