American General Killed in Shooting at Afghan Military Academy

Sure. Like you know me. Pffffft.

It was based on your comment that you don't care what happens to the rest of the world! Patently extremist.

I don't. Why? Because they don't care about us.

I think the world is pissed about US imperialism, so perhaps we could agree on that.

Ambassador killed...no response.
General killed...no response.

State department incompetence (Hillary) got the ambassador and very small security team killed.

Actually, "What difference at this point does it make?" is a response.

If history is any indication ..... sure.

It's obvious that the person who did this was disgruntled.

Gruntled people don't do things like this.

No, I'm talking common sense for all but those who personally have something to gain by interfering in everyone else's business. For the umpteenth time, we can provide aid, help with starvation, homelessness, aids, farming advancements, water quality, trade and other business, joint projects that advance civilizations, encourage and enrich everyone. Tourism, disaster relief and all the other humanitarian adventures too numerous to list. But wishing to end US imperialism isn't isolationism, that's just a dirty four letter word you warmongers like to label peaceful people with.

How old were you in 2001?

Kindergarten age?

That would be about right considering the content of your post.

We went into Afghanistan for no other reason than that it was providing a base and refuge for the Osama Bin laden-Al Qaeda-Night Creatures who carried out the 9/11 attack.

It was a just war if there ever was one.

We have stayed there since only to ensure that the Night Creature host does not take over again.

If isolationist nitwits, such as you, have their way then the Night Creatures probably will return, and more of our people will die than if we stay as long as we need to.

Exit from this place is long overdue. Come on Obama....

Wrong again (still) in the theme of Reagan's covert (contra) operation, running arms to the AQ, MB, and al Nusra infested rebels in Syria via the Benghazi annex through Turkey got the ambassador and small security team killed!

Has the military ever done that before?

Another ****ing warmonger who fails to realize that US foreign policy in the ME has CREATED our enemies. Then further stupid US policy supports them, then further stupid policy removes people like Hussein, Mubarak, Gaddafi and Assad (in the works) who otherwise control these militant groups that the stupid US policy supports.

Take your jibberish somewhere else.

Obama's the first president since WW2 to lose a general to enemy action. He'll wear that distinction as a badge of honor.

Ah yes, the BS factory is in full swing I see!

Probably so-- a general is usually going to be a more valuable asset.

They will not have been killed in vain if we have the guts to stand fast. Hopefully Iraq has taught us something in that regard.

What the **** does stand fast mean, keep a permanent military presence. Hell no, the moment the last mans gone, this place turns back to what it's been since before the new kid on the block (America) was born. Decades of US support for these militant Islamists is making matters worse. Intentional destabilization, or incompetent administration after another. Either way, we're facilitating the drowning of the ME in sectarian violence.

Wrong.

Marine Major General Bruno Hochmuth died in Vietnam on November 16, 1967. Johnson was president at that time.

Well there you have it, he was another "Libbo".

His hatred for Obama and rush to blame him for everything got him busted, good call!

It also wasn't technically "enemy action," since these guys are ostensibly friendlies that we were training.
