I nominate this one as the most absurd statement you've posted thus far. There are lots and lots of other contenders.

The man died in Vietnam during the time that the USA was at war there.

    That's a fact.

    Deal with it.

But it looks every bit like mechanical failure. Not enemy fire.

If you take a good look at the guy’s posts you will see for yourself that his information rating really is kindergarten-level. About the same as yours, in fact.

We have several 100k highly trained professional volunteers to take care of what needs to be taken care of.

If we had left about 20K in Iraq then ISIS would not have taken over about half the country. If we keep about 20k in Afghanistan then Taliban is not going to regain power.

So if you start a brush fire to control some nuisance bushes and weeds but due to crappy preplanning and piss poor management the fires roar out of control... now you do your best to manage that fire but it is still on going when your shift ends.

So you think the relief crew gets the blame for the continuing losses because the shift whistle blew?

But CONs play the game as well... I recall several CONs who always point to the LIBs who start wars...

    What's sauce to a goose...

Clearly you don't remember Obama's promises of being out of both countries.

You get that it was a military school with military targets. You are the one who isolated the word school for the emotional reaction. Own up to it.

Or there is of course the chance you didn't understand it was a military installation. Did you not understand it was a military installation?

I remember the Dems promising that in the 2006 midterms.

Totally agree man. I'm tired of trying to help people that don't want to be helped. If the Afghani people don't want freedom, then we cannot force it down their throats. They obviously don't want it bad enough to stand up to the Taliban and various other "organizations" so why should we sacrifice our best and brightest?

Pres Obama made this his war when he sent a 2007 Iraq style surge into Afghanistan. Had he started a draw down instead of a plus up, you would have a point.
