House passes $694 million border bill

It may be what you want but dont speak for me. If it was up to me I would start mass deportations, then charge you with treason - just because.

I wasn't speaking for you. I was posting facts

The two are incompatible

Wrong. US law recognizes that refugees have the right to enter the country to seek asylum.

You have to be labeled as refugee by the government first. These are not refugees.

I don't see how that addresses my point about the apparent contradiction in your position on ACA (you oppose based partially on the fact that the majority don't support it) and your position on immigration (you support deportation even though the majority doesn't support it).

Except you've got it ass backwards. The majority want the illegals deported more quickly. Americans by majority are firmly against amnesty.

You're not posting any facts
- you're merely posting your progressive opinion.

The simple fact I oppose your position as a us citizen puts a hole in your "everyone" arguement.

No they don't

I've already posted the link which proves that I'm right and you're wrong

Then your link was wrong. Polling after polling shows the same result. Americans want the illegals deported. Here is what FAIR has to say about the polling:

http://www.fairus.org/facts/illegal-immigration-and-amnesty-polls

•Only 18% think illegal aliens should be given immediate amnesty; 62% believe legalization should occur only after the border is secured, and 19% are unsure.

I didn't make any "everyone" argument

Immigration

"Which statement comes closest to your views about what the U.S. should do about the children who are currently arriving from Central America without their parents? We should offer shelter and support while beginning a process to determine whether they should be deported or allowed to stay in the U.S., OR deport them immediately back to their home countries?"

Offer shelter and support 70%
Deport immediately 26%

Your citations are useless. I can also post links that claim all the presidents were/are reptilian aliens.

Obama said, "hey lets work together" So he got some work from the House, and don't like it.

Pew Research Center. July 8-14, 2014. N=1,805 adults nationwide. Margin of error ± 2.7.

"Which comes closer to your view about how to handle undocumented immigrants who are now living in the U.S.? They should not be allowed to stay in this country legally. OR, There should be a way for them to stay in the country legally, if certain requirements are met."

Stay 68%
Not stay 30%

You think that obfuscation still works? You're jumping from general statements to specific and then back again when you get caught. IF you want to freeze those goalposts for a bit, just regarding this crop of children: yes, the majority want to offer shelter and support BEFORE we deport them. The minority want them deported immediately. Amnesty is not even mentioned.

And the polling on illegals in general is to deport and deport faster by a large majority.

Your link isn't to the poll, and the poll was of likely voters only, and not of the american people

Polls are absolutely useless considering they can easily be manipulated numerous ways.

Funny how you don't link that.

Yeah, those people want those kids to be deported eventually, which is why 68% say they should be allowed to stay

Funny how you don't link that.

same link

keep pretending you care about the link while proving you didn't click on it

Totally FALSE partisan bull****. Stop being hypocritical! Our southern border has been unsecured for a very long time. In the past several decades 15-20 million immigrants have illegally entered our country. Reagan gave several million of them amnesty. No, NO president or congress has ever taken border security serious, nor will they. Play this finger pointing game all you want, and join the multitudes who aren't interested in solving problems but rather placing blame. International corporations have no use for secure boarders. Big business benefits by the cheap labor and the fact that illegal immigration drives down wages on American workers. Both parties pander to big business and you will NOT see our borders secure so long as an establishment republican or democrat is in the White House. But you have fun with your partisan finger pointing.

i cant remember a president actually "inviting" them to come though....can you?

i agree neither side has done much in the last 50 years regarding border security

but can you agree, that it has gotten worse?

and that in part, it is because of what the president has said and done

and can we also agree that it is high time someone got off their ass and actually did something to solve the problem

The only ones who have a say.

Wrong

Unlikely voters have just as much say and non-voters get just as much representation

And they're all americans, so my claim that americans don't support deportation has been proven true.

I'm right. You're wrong
