Funny you would say such a stupid thing. I watch "real news", Al Jazeera style, would you prefer a link from them on the hazards of fracking? Or must it come from FAUX news?

I'm just going by what the USGS wrote in their report. Invent whatever you must.
 
I have decided, that not enough of the right people are paying attention to this matter. I hope that you all know, that my interest is in what is good for the people. Fracking for natural gas is something that I do not believe in. I would rather pay a higher tax bill (because that is what energy is) than to watch people's homes destroyed and well-water contaminated. You must be out of your mind to think that fracking is a low-cost fix to our energy problems.

I can tell you from personal experience living in rural Oklahoma that I've known of several farmers wells that have been contaminated and others that have been made dry by fracking. The fracking companies have to drill new wells for these guys, but they aren't always as good as the originals.
 
Is fracking causing the Oklahoma earthquakes? Of course they are, but these quakes are small, nothing like the big ones that occasionally hit California. It is nothing to worry about. So what should we worry about? All the tolulene, benzene, and other toxins that are pumped into the ground during and after the fracking process, which eventually make their way to the water table.
