Re: Bill Clinton: "I could have killed" Osama bin Laden.

Funny how conservatives make a deal out of Clinton not getting OBL, even though in his eight years, Bush didn't either. And though he SAID he wanted him dead or alive, this is how he really felt.

Bush: Who knows if he's hiding in some cave or not. We haven't heard from him in a long time. The idea of focusing on one person really indicates to me people don't understand the scope of the mission. Terror is bigger than one person. He's just a person who's been marginalized.... I don't know where he is. I really just don't spend that much time on him, to be honest with you.

NO MORE BUSH's, NO MORE CLINTON'S. Rand Paul would be my, choice, and he's not ideal, but there's nothing else, yet.

And Bush was right. Obama is dead but radical Islam is more dangerous than ever.

I'm not really believing that guy "forgot" about the audio.

This doesn't really go into details either. Why couldn't he attempt a navy seals op like Obama did in the end, instead of just missile strike, if he was worried over civilians? Was the exact location not known or what?

Ha, what a hypocritical comment. We all know you would never have given Obama a pass for saying something as foolish as Bush did, and his comment proves he saw no value in defeating AQ. Decades and multiple presidencies of support for militant Islamic groups (like Bush's support of MEK) is what has allowed them to strengthen. But blind and patronizing partisans are hypocrites by nature, and won't ever concede such and therefore we will only see them continue to strengthen.

In fact, Richard Clarke, who worked in the WH for every president from Reagan to Bush, said that Clinton would have been more likely to prevent the 9/11 attacks than Bush.

Then why didn't he? They were planned while he was President. The first WTC attack happened while he was President.

Because for decades US presidents have supported militant Islamic groups for the destabilization of the ME. Removing the regions stabilizing strong arms, Hussein, Mubarak, Gaddafi and Assad (in progress) has served that purpose well. The ME is drowning in sectarian violence. Bush's flippant comment that he didn't spend time thinking about OBL, a good demonstration.

Bush's comment had nothing to do with my question.
