This was nothing but a "do you still beat your wife" interview. Can you prove it wasn't?

She doesn't need to be "attacked" but she should be exposed for denying science. In fact, we don't want such types in office, that's dangerous.

Many. Just listen to Fox News commentators, The Blaze, Right-wing radio, all the time. I can't count how many times Lerner got quoted on Hannity, Limbauh, or even Mark Levin's show. let alone Obama's comments, Reids, etc.

Again, when a politician says something stupid in public, they should expect to be questioned on it.

You are the one who made the claim it was a gotcha interview.

I would have a hard time considering any interview where a politician is asked about their stated positions a gotcha interview. It is not the interviewers fault she was illprepared.

Surely you could've figured that out for yourself.

No it wasn't. She made stupid comments and got questioned on those comments. Talk about personal responsibility, she makes the comments and you blame others for asking questions about those comments.

yep. that question was never asked

    duh!

what was asked were questions about two topics. both topics the candidate had commented about previously: the validity of global warming and the legitimacy of Obama as president based on his birthplace

neither of the comments about her opinions on those topics approaches being a 'do you still beat your wife' question

actually, that you incorrectly used that expression causes me to believe you are ignorant of the meaning of such a question

Yes she does. But I think her fan base is more the tea party types and not the establishment Republicans.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
