I have been slapped a time or two, can't say I didn't deserve ALL of them...
But my more pragmatic view is I will never hit a lady but damn sure will beat a bitch...
So far, knock wood, I have only met ladies- true a few were HIGHLY pissed- but after the symbolic slap they had the good sense to call it good. As an aside, in real life I have never met a man who just stood there and took an ass whipping from anyone, man or woman- most are the would rather go down swinging type. But to each their own I reckon...
2. I don't know how big you are. Maybe you meet women who are stronger than you. In that case I can't speak for you. but this football player could bench press a small car dude. You REALLY believe the only way he could have controlled a small women is by knocking her out!
Except, for a man of his size and ability who is used to barreling into or being barreled into by men as big or bigger than himself, knowing what constitutes a light touch is not always going to be easy, especially in a heated moment. He could have been going easy on her and still managed to knock her out. If she punched him in the face and he reacted, but used more force than he intended, it would be wrong to suggest he is some horrific abuser who needs to be banned from the game and locked up for years. It depends on the context. Were it a man he hit in that situation there would be a bit of a "typical bar fight between dudes" response, even if it was some wimpy drunk guy who just tossed beer in his face. What justifies one person to hit another hard enough to knock them out? That's assault. Pure and simple. Whatever she violence she may have done to him, it cannot in any way equal knocking her out (certainly spitting doesn't). If it's judged that she assaulted him, so be it, but knocking a person out, is well beyond the pale of claiming self-defense against a woman who was using only her fists (and saliva).

I've only been slapped by a woman once and that was a case of total mistaken identity. Long story there.
Never a reason.
And for the record, I find not getting in fights as easy as not getting arrested. Don't do stupid **** and that's half the battle.
This is a travesty.........Ray Lewis pled guilty to obstruction of justice in a double homocide and was not suspended.......but only given a fine. Ray Rice dragged his drunk girlfriend off an elevator.....she's still alive......and he gets a two game suspension.......outrageous
Good thing Ray Rice isn't a white guy who told is girl friend not to hang around with black guys. That might have gotten him a lifetime ban from the sport. I guess punching a girl in the face and knocking her out isn't really all that bad. Good to see professional sports has their priorities straight.
