The ever increasing radicalization of the right becomes more and more obvious every day and now this poll clearly provides more evidence of the divide in America between the right and everyone else.

65% of Americans reject the political tactic of impeachment but a full one-third of the citizenry are more that willing to go down that road. Nearly one in five simply want to use it to advance their own political objections and need no actual crimes for the process.
Ahh, haymarket logic. Things are as they have been for the past two presidents but that's a sign of the "ever increasing radicalization if the right"...you know, if by "increasing" you mean "staying roughly the same"

"Anti-impeachment sentiment is roughly where it was for past presidents - 67% opposed Bill Clinton's impeachment in September 1998, and 69% opposed impeaching George W. Bush when a few Democrats began talking about it in 2006," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

How apropos, a soap opera producer chosen by Obama to become an ambassador.

But its the Republicans fault.... in the House.
So tell me WHO is holding up all those ambassador appointments if it is not the Republicans? And since when is it a sin to appoint friends and like minded people to Ambassador as long as they are qualified? Bush appointed his college roommate to head FEMA and no one batted an eye. This President has been treated differently from the start. It sure seems like the Republicans have forgotten that they have a responsibility to put aside partisanship and continue the affairs of State. In other words they have forgotten that they were elected to govern not tear down the Govt.

You are aware the majority of Obama's appointments were incompetent at the positions they were appointed to.

The entire Obama administration is incompetent.

Why were they approved by Congress ? If they didn't approve of Obama's nominations they would have been called racist.

Look at who the prior Secretary of Homeland Security was and todays Sec. of DHS. "The borders are secured"

Do we need to bring up the IRS ?

Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State and John Kerry. No world leaders listened to these two clowns. Just look at the Middle East today.

Eric Holder as the Attorney General. Holder has a racial chip on his shoulder the size of a water melon.

Obama's national security adviser is Susan Rice.

It's not just the right, 35% of the "radicalized" independents polled think Obama should be impeached as well. That's more than the total percent of those who would seek impeachment.

The reason? Obama thinks its OK to pick up his pen rather than seek consensus, because after all, that's how this whole system of government works. You can just have what you want and then blame others when you don't get it, unless of course you're a democrat.

Instead of capitulating like the dems did with Iraq, and then whining about their own actions, the Republicans are holding their ground.

Try looking at the whole picture. I know its difficult, but try. People are unhappy with Obama, period.

Anyway, there's no need to impeach Obama, voters everywhere can be heard at the polls in November.

People are even more unhappy with congress and that's who they'll be voting for in November.

No. I do not think that is so. Unethical is a very personal thing and way too inexact to use for political vengeance.

I think both parties are bad these days. It's merely that the republicans are less bad then the democrats. These days the democrats are positively evil.

They are not happy with President Obama only giving him a 37% job approval rating. But Bush the second was at 36% among independents at this juncture of his presidency. But whether one approves or disapproves of the job a president is doing doesn't mean impeachment is warranted.

Actually the Democrats did introduce impeachment articles to the judiciary committee during Bush the second tenure. But that was a far as it got. So far during Obama, that hasn't happened. Yet.

Yes.....as I recall, democrats started threatening to impeach Bush the moment he was re-elected.
