"And in the end, we were all just humans, drunk on the idea that love, only love, could heal our brokenness."
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

I love to bash cons, but in this case it's entirely wrong to single them out.

The problem with impeachment is that it has nothing to do with the president being guilty or not. He can attack, avoid, destroy the Constitution all he wants. Trample on our rights, force us to buy health care, take actions he has absolutely no power to take, and it doesn't matter. All that matters is if there is political support to impeach him. That's a high hurdle, since most of the democrats support his action, or just don't have the guts to stand up for the people and the Constitution (republicans too).
And then what to you get? Joe Biden, Obama's greatest insurance policy.
And impeachment may not get you what you want. I think that if Clinton was removed from office, and Gore was able to campaign as a sitting president, he would have won the election.

Back in 1974 the Republicans had the cajones to approach Nixon and convince him it was time to step down and resign his office as POTUS.
And all Nixon did was lie about a third rate burglary that he wasn't involved in or knew about until after it happened and just talked about using the IRS to go after his political enemies. He never used the IRS but thought about doing so and it seems it's an impeachable offense to do so according to the Democrats.
