The Framers argued the point and chose to deal with political "crimes" by removing the offender from his office. Actual crimes involving the criminal statues can have both remedies.

It is clear to me that you have no idea that there are differences between establishment Republicans and Conservatives. Bush brought a few Conservatives with him but he has never been a Conservative. Bush is a statist. He was not as bad as Obama but he pushed government growth in the same direction as Obama.

To each his own. In my own personal opinion, everything done in the name of Nobel Prizes reflects on Nobel Prizes. The fact that they awarded Arafat, one of the bloodiest terrorists in history a Nobel Prize, puts an excrement stain on the entire Nobel Prize organization. If I had been awarded a Nobel Prize in one of the other fields outside of polictics before they handed Arafat a Peace Prize.......I would have sent it back or found a cesspool to drop it into when Arafat was awarded. Those are my standards. Yours may differ. That is your right.

Is there anything you DON'T immediately see "liberal bias" in? Do you get mad when your Alpha-Bits don't spell out "Ronald Reagan" by themselves? Sometimes it's like some of you guys see liberal bias in your own shadows.

That's funny. I criticize a progressive for playing the race card and what does he do? He come right back and plays the race card. I really don't give a damn whether Obama is black, white, blue, green, red, or orange with white polka dots. It is his hard left socialist politics and his blatant dishonesty that I have a problem with. The real racists are the progressives who immediately resort to the race card if a minority politician on the left is criticized for any reason. Then they ignore the chants of "uncle tom" and "oreo" tossed at conservative minorities by their own progressive brethren.

You are being a bit silly. For the most part, the birther movement effectively ended the day Obama finally released his birth certificate. That does not mean there are not still a few diehards out there who continue, however there are still leftwing nutjobs pushing "Bush was AWOL". And there are still some progressives who still by into the left wing conspiracy theory that George Bush Sr flew to Paris in an SR-71 spy plane to meet with the Iranians in 1980 to talk them into delaying the release of the embassy hostages until the day Reagan took office.

It was not so much that it was a bad bill. It was that the democrat controlled congress was not trustworthy. Reagan learned the hard way that his "Trust but verify" logic that he applied to dealing with the soviets should have applied to congress as well. He should have demanded enforcement first.
