    True.

However, it would seem to me, the reality is that the leaders of these countries want their people to leave. It solves some population problems related to infrastructure and support, places the entire burden of caring for the most needy of their populations on the backs of US Taxpayers, and the remittances extracted from the exploitation of the US is a major source of revenue.

And that's also true. But then this would be moot as soon as Americans kick their drug addiction!

Abject poverty has been an issue in Latin American countries long before the "Drug Lords" came into power. The "blame it on drugs" meme is just an excuse that doesn't hold water.

We have an unstable demographic situation that requires immigration. I am all for finding a way to bring those kids in and educate them to be productive members of the society they choose to live in. If they later want to go back? Fine. They probably will not hate us. If they want to stay? Fine. We will need educated people in a few years.

Should we have passed an anti-trafficking law preventing sex slaves? Should you hate Bush, because he did? That is up to you.

I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it.

I don't think it's the law itself, but the current application of the law that is a problem. All the people have to do is follow instructions and say the right words, and they can be handed keys to the kingdom. If a "child" is from Mexico, just tell the border patrol they are from one of the four countries covered in the law. If a Mother and child are at the border, separate and meet up later. The child is protected by this law, and the Mother can claim asylum and refugee status.

It's all part of the plan in this election year.

Well, they're half right. If not for the regime pushing amnesty, this might not be happening.
