Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Report

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

Why do Conservatives hate success?

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

And??

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

I wanted to become a 'community organizer'......but my wife talked me out of it.......said there wasn't enough money in it

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

So what?

Is there somekind of point you are trying to make?

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

The only point I get out of this is, Obama is not in touch with the middle class like his supporters like to believe he is. He is every bit the wealthy, elitist, out of touch politician that his supporters claim the republicans are.

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

Well, at least he probably won't have to take "loans" from shady supporters to get this one.

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

Silly thread.

The real question is, how many illegal immigrant children is Obama going to take in to live in that phat house with him and his family?

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

I'd agree generally. However, the devil is in the details. How he's financing it may indeed be an issue. I'm not aware that previous presidents have made such purchases while still in office.

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

Why would he do that? The desert sucks.

Maybe Michelle wants to run for something in California.

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

Can't he buy a home and compete with the Chinese and Canadians?

Well, if she wants to, fine, but Northern California is so much better. For one, it doesn't have anywhere near as many deserts, or anywhere near as many Southern Californians.

Amen to that last. I was born in Northern California (Nevada City). Loved that place.

I won't **** with him if he does... the secret service doesn't have a sense of humor.

Re: Obama family set to buy $4.25M desert home: Whatta Great Country, eh?

4.25 million for a house in that area of California is about $500,000 or less for the same structure where I live. Big deal.
