Personally, I don't see the story here unless the government is buying it for him. He needs to live somewhere in 2017.

Close to golf courses? Why does it need to be a liberal/conservative thing? Do you think about the political makeup of your neighborhood when looking at houses?

No, I don't remember that.

But Sonny frequently showed up at California conservative fund raising events in SoCal all of the time. That's where I got to know him. He was fun to talk to and as a speaker he kept the people entertained.

BTW: Obama may be able to lie and get away with it, but it doesn't mean everyone can.

I wonder how Michelle Obama is going to be able to handle the neighborhood ? You can stand on a street corner and not see a black face for weeks.

And if the Obama's decide to go into Palm Springs on the weekend for what ever, dining, shopping they're going to be in for a cultural shock. If Obama's Secret Service driver drops the car keys, he's going to kick them all the way to San Bernardino before he bends over to pick them up.

No, but Michael Jordan's Chicago's house is still on the market with a full size basketball court and many other luxuries. Lots of room for Obama's secret service and staff. However he would have to open his purse and shell out more money, the price has been reduced to $16M

Obama is much better at spending other people's money and not his own.
Chicago has fabulous golf courses in near by communities, some big events have been held at them.

I think it has already happened.

The only people in America who are better off after five years of Obama are the filthy rich, immigrants and illegal aliens.

Every other part of society in America is worse off and black Americans are worse off more than any other group in America because of Obama's incompetency and failed policies.

But there are still some black believers who are standing by their mailboxes every day waiting for their Obama money.

I'm sure he's probably played at most of those courses. Maybe the access is easier or something. Honestly, it's his money...if he and Michelle want to move out to California, that's not for me to say anything. It's not for us to criticize. They do have to live somewhere in 3 years. They aren't required to live anywhere, and they aren't required to become homeless.

I'm sure it's a very nice house. Unless the government is buying it, it ain't none of my business what house they want, how much it costs and why they chose it.

Well, private citizen is debatable. As long as a person has taxpayer funded secret service agents guarding them at all times, they aren't really a private citizen.

But yes, he should be able to live wherever he wants, as long as he's paying for it and can afford it.

Has Obama taken into considerations of what the people of Rancho Mirage have ?

I only have one close friend who lives in Rancho Mirage but they have questions.

Will the Secret Service restrict their freedom to travel around the neighborhood ?

How much will their property value drop ? This has been a major issue asked in the past week or so.

Will that bitchy mother of Michelle be living at the home ?

Will Valerie Jarrett also be moving in since as we just recently learned she's been living off the tax payers in the White House for the past 5 1/2 years, free room and board and also has her own Secret Service detail and her own motorcade.

Will Rancho Mirage be invaded with gangsta rappers like the White House has been ?

Will Obama's home become a high end crack house like the White House is rumored to be ?

Will the American taxpayers still be paying for Obama's golf balls that have "POTUS" printed on them. I **** you not.
