Very sad. One would think such sobering things would prompt Hamas to stop firing rockets.
Well, I read the article and thought that some people might be interested in it.

What about the Hamas attacks, no war crimes there? Transparent bias on the part of this UN weenie.

They have also said the same about Hamas.. U.N.: Hamas, Israel may be guilty of war crimes - CNN.com
Sure.
The Palestinians are essentially Neanderthals, so arguably not even the same species as the Israelis.
I don't think you can call the killing of sub human primates a "war crime" and keep a straight face while doing it.
Years and years of debates over Israel/Palestine flare-ups.
They always sound the same.
It's like the movie, Groundhog Day.
Popcorn anyone?
When something is done about all the atrocities Hamas and similar orgs have done to Israel, THEN I will worry about whether Israel has done something that needs to be addressed.
But oddly enough, the crickets tend to chirp at the UN when Hamas is attacking, and we hear very little until Israel tries to do something in self-defense.
Some people are not savvy enough to ever consider the source and all too easily fall for an appeal to popularity and/or appeal to authority of which this is both.
The bias the UNHRC shows towards Israel is so obvious that no intelligent person could possibly fail to notice, and relying on the say-so of representatives of an organization where half its members do not even meet the very most minimum standards for democracy is ridiculous. One might as well follow the suggestions of the KKK as they pertain to African Americans.
The U.N. has been little but a mouthpiece for antisemitism for years. Any body of idiots that determines that "Zionism is Racism" like they did is worthess.
So will there actually be any investigation and action regarding Hamas's crimes, or is going to be like when an abortion doctor is killed and the Conservative reaction is "Well, sure, killing doctors is wrong and all, but hey, you know, maybe he wouldn't have been killed if he hadn't been performing abortions." (wink wink nudge grin)
The UN has said that Israel may have committed war crimes in its offensive against Hamas in Gaza, in which hundreds of Palestinian civilians have been killed in the last two weeks, and voted with only one abstention to launch an international inquiry.
"There seems to be a strong possibility that international law has been violated in a manner that could amount to war crimes,"Navi Pillay the UN high commissioner for human rights said in Geneva.

I don't feel qualified to judge whether war crimes have been committed, but I do think that it's a possibility which should be checked out.
Who knows. Who knows if there will be an investigation into Israel as well.

What I'd like to see every once in a while is the UN accuse Hamas of war crimes for hiding weapons in schools and using civilians as human shields.
Shouldn't we hold Israel to a slightly higher standard of behavior?
If we wish to make sure everybody knows we are absolute two-faced hypocrites, we should.
Oh wait, I missed this one. We are at the screaming phase.
OK, so the UN is anti-semitic and the Palestinians aren't human. I'm out.
I never said the Palestinians aren't human. Nice try, though.
If you lack the ability to understand the dynamics involved when huge majorities target a small minority, I would say that is your problem.
Isn't that damned nice of them to include Hamas with their always dependable accusations against Israel.
So Israel should act like Hamas? What would differentiate them in that case?
