No one's advocating first strikes against known supporters of terrorist or Ukrainian invaders. A Qualified and Internationally respected US President with a credible foreign policy is a profound impediment to the growing threat of rogue Nations and Russian leaders who're hell bent on Soviet style land grabs.
Well in that case you and I agree, and its something that's been lacking for a long time then.

Grant you don't really expect Obama to make a decision or take a stand do you?

Yeah then we disagree, I was pretty sure you wouldn't be accepting of any responsibility of prior administration failures in the region. But I do have to check every once in a while to see if you've moved any closer to objectivity, or whether everything that's wrong is still all Obama's fault.

You do know that it is the P-5+1 that has agreed to this right? This isn't a US unilateral decision.

Absolutely. Their current stockpile of nuclear weapons and related facilities has to be considered at risk given the presence of Al Qaeda operatives in Pakistan and the countryís problematic security system. Added to that you have internal instability and differing political views. Yikes.

Exactly! Why the handwringing over Iran and yet we have no problem with this??

Even in the best of times, Pakistanís nuclear-weapons program warrants alarm. But these are perilous days. At a moment of unprecedented misgiving between Washington and Islamabad, new evidence suggests that Pakistanís nuclear program is barreling ahead at a furious clip.

According to new commercial-satellite imagery obtained exclusively by Newsweek, Pakistan is aggressively accelerating construction at the Khushab nuclear site, about 140 miles south of Islamabad. The images, analysts say, prove Pakistan will soon have a fourth operational reactor, greatly expanding plutonium production for its nuclear-weapons program.

I don't believe any additional extensions should be given. If a deal were reasonably close, the kind of extension that was given is reasonable. If, however, a deal can't be concluded after this extension, then it's clear that a deal were not close and Iran is unambiguously stalling. I suspect that a deal won't be concluded.
