Tea Party Groups' Suit Against IRS Moves Forward

Tea party groups' suit against IRS moves forward

" CINCINNATI (AP) -- A federal judge has allowed a lawsuit by 10 tea party groups to move forward against the Internal Revenue Service, rejecting a request by the federal government to dismiss all the allegations that the agency subjected conservative groups to additional, often burdensome scrutiny "

    Good for them....

They'll lose. The IRS seems to have targeted groups that were set up in recent months, whose main purpose was to not pay taxes, and which were formed as tax-exempt organizations. So, duh. We would expect the IRS to target such groups. If those groups were conservative, so be it. But that's not why those were targeted. If those groups were liberal, then so be it. But that's not why those groups were targeted.

BTW, the IRS targeted other groups, in addition to those.

    Huh ?

First, Lois Lerner in 2012 ADMITTED via a planted question that the IRS had targeted Conservative action groups disproportionately.

She, and Obama's official payed Liar Jay Carney, blamed it on " rogue agents in Cincinnati."

But when those rogue agents were put under oath, they said their orders came from Washington.

So the first of many huge lies from the IRS and the WH.

As for other 501C organizations, only 7 Liberal groups were targeted for extra investigation and after a average of two extra questions each, they all received their tax exempt status.

Then came the desperate mitigations from the hacks on the left AND the White House. That the Houses investigation was just a Politically motivated " Witch hunt ".

The problem with that assertion is that if truly was a Politically motivated Witch hunt, the White House and the IRS could have ended the whole thing 2 years ago by simply answering the questions.

    You don't counter a " Witch hunt " with 24 Consecutive 5th amendment pleas.

You dont counter a Witch hunt by destroying evidence. No, all the Obama administration and the IRS has done is to perpetuate this scandal and remove all doubt that they used a powerful Federal agency to target innocent Americans.

So you're wrong, they weren't being targeted because they were seeking tax exempt status, they were being targeted because they disagreed with our dear leader and thats HIGHLY ILLEGAL and corrupt.

What was the IRS's probable cause?

well, maybe you should provide your evidence to the defense team and see how it all pans out in court.

This is what is known "selective memory". What the conservative who are complaining are ignoring is that it wasn't just 'conservative' groups, but groups with just key words as 'occupy' , and 'progressive' and 'Israeli' where also used for higher scrutiny. In other words, groups that were playing politics.

I will have to say about Darral Issa, he is either one of the most incompetency investigators, or someone on personal vendetta.

It wasn't because they were scrutinized.

This is what is known as low information perpetuated blind allegiance

7 Progressive groups were targeted for extra questioning and after 1 or two extra questions, recieved their tax exempt status.

So the narrative that both were targeted is highly dishonest and food for low information Obama apologist.

You can accept that or continue to prattle on with last years debunked talking points, its up to youn

Here's what you can say about Darryl Issa.

His perseverance with the Obama administrations and the IRSs continued obstruction is building one hell of a legacy for this President and the Democrat party.

You don't counter a empty political motivated " witch hunt " with lies, 5th amendment pleas and the destruction of evidence.
