APNewsBreak: No 'Stand Down' Order in Benghazi

Polls show voter regret and that Mitt Romney would have made a better President. Leftists should own up to their clueless electoral priorities.

If Mitters had won we would be in another recession right now and spending money hand over fist in police actions all over the world. That goon had all Bush's neocons as advisers.

The two were literally interchangeable... They agreed on virtually everything; gun control, open borders, healthcare, etc.

This doesn't sound a great deal like agreement of borders to me...

Immigration and Border Security (Part 2 of 3): Mitt Romney | RedState

Mitt Romney does not have a lot of recent recorded talking points on immigration. However, he addressed the issue extensively as a POTUS Candidate in 2007. In an effort to define his current stance on immigration issues, Candidate Romney spoke in Manchester, NH during his previous, unsuccessful run for the GOP nomination. Romney makes three points in the sound-bite below.

“I very firmly believe that we have to make sure that we enforce our borders, that we have an employment verification system, and that those people who have come here illegally do not get an advantage to become permanent residents, they do not get a special pathway.”

But you people just throw **** against the wall and hope nobody checks it out.

You telling me that the buffoon, Obama, was a better candidate than Mitt Romney...elected by the people of Massachusetts as their governor in 2003 and this, from Romney's googled bio: ????

Massachusetts Governor

Romney parlayed his success with the Olympics into politics when he was elected governor of Massachusetts in 2003. During Romney's term as governor, he oversaw the reduction of a $3 billion deficit. He also signed into law a health-care reform program to provide nearly universal health care for Massachusetts residents.

I repeat:

He was a much better candidate than Romney. All Romney had to be was half competent and he'd have won. Stop making excuses.

BTW, running a country isn't running a business. That's another thing some republicans don't understand.

Did you watch the entire hearing? or just that snippet?

I watched the entire thing, not from our clips, but before. And there is room for a third possibility. Otherwise your left deciding which you WANT to support.

Polls only take a snap shot and are limited. Run it again, and I doubt the results would change. Romney just isn't a good candidate. But he was the best than ran. I think both parties better look for something better than they are offering.

Naaa, that's why the democrats want to ILLEGALLY bring as many aliens into the United States as they can get away with. FUTURE VOTERS for the next bunch of buffoons.

That's one of those misinformation things that seem to spread. It isn't true. Neither party wants to stop illegal immigration. The problem has been here for decades, and no one has done anything except amnesty (Reagan). The laws are on the book to stop it. Dare your congress critter, governor, anyone to enforce them. I'll take a bet with you, I'll likely live another ten years. I bet we'll still have this problem non matter who is elected ten years from now. Care to bet?

Sorry Left wingers but Mr. Hicks sounds very credible and on the other hand Susan Rice and Hilary have public records of lying on a regular basis.

First of all, he's asked why the team was left in Tripoli, by the military command structure (that team wasn't under the command of diplomatic staff), and he says, "I don't know."

Could be that had they left, they'd have passed a plane of wounded folks on their way to Tripoli, and arrived at the airport where all that was left to do was get other people on a plane. That's not the testimony of Rice and Hillary, that's the uncontested testimony of those who investigated the entire incident, former top military commanders.

Calling the CIA (who released the story about the video causing the attack) terrorists does not help your side one bit. Who are these people you "trust"? They couldn't be bitter partisans like you..could they?
Do you believe the video caused caused the attack?

How was Barrack Obama a better anything? He never ran a village, city, county state or business. All he learned was in the faculty lounge and from his far left friends. He is a Chance the Gardener, a man of little accomplishment, who was in the right place at the right time.

Mitt Romney was successful in whatever he did, and was far the better candidate. Most Americans now recognize that and have a deep suffering of buyers remorse, as they should. Now the world is recognizing, with the exception of the American left, just how lame and dangerous this guy really is.

But the ONLY PRESIDENT of this country that welcomed the illegal aliens with open arms is this buffoon.

I believe that there was violence and death in Cairo and other cities in the Mideast because of the video and that the situation in Benghazi could well have been the same.
I certainly would not dismiss it out of hand when the CIA says that it did. The CIA was in charge of security at that compound as evidenced by their last minute "rescue" attempt. I would like to know more about the CIA's mission in Benghazi and why they were so blindsided that night. Sadly since that would not involve the Whitehouse and its staff the CIA is of no interest to this witch hunt of an "investigation" It is nothing but a bad taste charade.

Actually it was GW Bush that signed the law that you believe brought them all here.

This pic is NOT photoshopped.

Have you seen the testimony of those who were there that night? They say they were not 'blindsided'.

Fevered attempts to change the narrative, or just simply come up with a new crisis to focus on for the day are sadly what has become the way liberal progressives deal with things today...We deserve better.

I'm a Missourian...show me. Show me the law that Bush signed to bring ILLEGAL ALIENS across our borders with no questions asked citizenship. Show me that law.

They are developing their opinions from 3 minute clips taken from several hours of testimony. It's difficult to debate people who know so very little on a subject and then substitute their beliefs for facts.

I don't know about "no questions asked citizenship" since that does not exist but the influx of foreign children is apparently caused by this.
Here you go..

WASHINGTON — It was one of the final pieces of legislation signed into law by President George W. Bush, a measure that passed without controversy, along with a pension bill and another one calling for national parks to be commemorated on quarters.

“This is a piece of legislation we’re very proud to sign,” a White House spokesman, Tony Fratto, told reporters on Dec. 23, 2008, as the president put his pen to the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008, named for a 19th-century British abolitionist. “This program has been very effective around the world in trying to stop trafficking in persons.”

Now the legislation, enacted quietly during the transition to the Obama administration, is at the root of the potentially calamitous flow of unaccompanied minors to the nation’s southern border.

Thanks, I believe it now...however, the law seemed to be designed to fight sex-trafficking of minor children. That isn't what Obama, all of a sudden, is using the law to do. He's simply arranging transportation for minor kids who were abandoned by their parents in other countries to enter the U.S. in volumes this country is NOT PREPARED TO HANDLE. And of course, turn them into democrats. Otherwise he would have been doing this all along.

Not much different than the Obama administration taking the Homeland Security "bugging law" to new levels, that democrats were ****ting their pants full when the Bush admin. was monitoring foreign incoming and outgoing long distance phone calls in guarding against terrorism.

Obama is not putting these Guatemalan kids on a train for Mexico so they can get across the border. He is simply following the law which requires that they get a hearing with a judge before they are deported. There is no free citizenship.

Bull ****...let Mexico deal with it.

In fact you can go to Yutube now and see dozens of videos that are anti Islam but we see no riots, murders, or anything of the sort as a consequence. These videos are commonplace. In fact the video being blamed was one of the poorest quality.

If you watch the hearings you'll see testimony that a 'rescue attempt' was denied.

You don't believe "The Guardian"? I thought that was you prime source of news. There was a last minute rescue attempt by the CIA that failed, you should at least know that.
