    I don't know where you learned math, but 50,300/288,000= 17.5%, not 75%

Perhaps you should look at the data and not make guesses.

    LOL !!

Thats all you need , right ? A number out of context ro proclaim " Success " !!

The unemployment rate has been falling for months and months.

So has the labor participation rates.

You see Conservatives aren't taken in by rhetoric and feel good BS numbers like the drop in the unemployment rates.

We're not taken in by empty platitudes and bumper sticker slogans either

We dont have to cover for a corrupt and incompetent President, YOU do.

That means we can offer up a honest and accurate representation of how bad our economy really is.

To be honest, I didn't even think they had it broken down and detailed like that. I'll happily eat my words. This is good news!

The unemployment rate has been falling for months and months.

So has the labor participation rates.
Labor Force Participation Rate for 2014
    January: 63
    February: 63
    March: 63.2
    April: 62.8
    May: 62.8
    June: 62.8

And don't forget, the participation rate has been dropping for the last 14 years....it can go up or down based on demographic and other non-labor market factors.
Therefore, since the world has still/Much good, but much less good than ill,
And while the sun and moon endure/Luck's a chance, but trouble's sure,
I'd face it as a wise man would,/And train for ill and not for good.

Because, the unemployment rate means nothing if the economy, wages, and hours are being shrunk. YAY everybody has a minimum wage job working a 20 hour week!

People who aren't jumping for joy about this number are realistic, and don't just overlook the US economy shrinking by 3%, a worrying figure.

I always think it's funny to watch certain people of a certain political persuasion try to portray people getting jobs as a bad thing.

A three percent reduction in the labor participation rate doesn't indicate a three percent contraction in our economy. It just means that three percent of our population have decided to become homemakers, home schoolers, or retire, or go to college.

Nothing wrong with that. The lfpr has been declining since the year 2000, expect the trend to continue to happen for another hundred years as we have less and less need for human labor.

Ten or twenty years in the future, I'm going to have a good time looking at the posts that people like you made, and ridiculing them.
