Protesters block buses carrying undocumented immigrants in California

I can't believe you have the audacity to come in here and say that Bush wasn't a liar! That's yours dude.

No one's proven it so far, and that includes you.

Audacity is not accepting that you've been taken in by left wing false narratives.

Interesting. I'm trying to understand the psychology of what goes into the brains of people who can't read or comprehend, but pretend they can.

Also, I'm curious about people who seem to want to excel at irrelevancy. Perhaps for some, that's a lofty goal.

As a gift, may I offer the relevant fact that the conversation has not excluded immigration failures during previous administrations, but has correctly identified Obama's obsession with upping the immigration failure ante today.

You're welcome.

So do you believe that Obama is responsible for the failures of the immigration problems that have existed for decades, believe that there have never been immigration problems in the past or didn't care about the prior immigration problems because they didn't involve Obama?

Everyone has proven it! Denying Bush lied has placed you on the margin of the immigration debate, without credibility.

LOL.

My goodness but you are determined to carve your irrelevance into stone. Why are you trying so hard to be obtuse? I've already answered the question. Perhaps you need to return to some other forum more suited to your needs.

No, they haven't.

Making childish statements like " Everyone's proven it " doesn't equate to proof.

It only proves that there are allot of easilly manipulated people and unfortunately these people vote.

Its how we wound up with Obama.

Nice for you. How did the week end go? What only 12 dead?
Not a one in my neighborhood. They're all on the South and West sides. Rogers Park where I reside is the most ethnically diverse area in the city and one of the safest.

No you haven't.....all you've done is avoid answering the question. You act as if the immigration problem is all of a sudden something that has occurred as a result of some Obama policy. I'm genuninely curious whether you actually believe that.

disneydude

do you consider today's immigration situation better, same, or worse than five years ago?

i wonder what the american people would respond to such a question....

imo the majority would say worse....and many would say MUCH WORSE

i dont think anyone is denying that illegal immigration has been around for decades in large numbers

but it has gotten far worse in a very short time now....and it has a lot of people very concerned

you dont understand that concern?

How is it childish when hundreds of posts in as many threads through the years have linked the proof of Bush scandals? All presidents have scandals, all of them, insisting that the Bush scandals are only left talking points seems the childish position.

I would say simply because of the number of children that are involved, the reported rate of crossing the border and the lack of any clear solution...it's worse.

No I haven't. That is where you are failing, again.

The immigration problem has been going on for a very long time. Obama has exacerbated the problem, obviously on purpose. That's reality.

As I've suggested, do try to catch up, or perhaps don't bother.

How many came over and how manybwere unaccompanied minors ? ( Future Gang Members ? )

they were prisoners and mental patients in significant numbers

they were prisoners and mental patients in significant numbers

How many is " significant " ?

And are you're honestly trying to make the case that no bad guys are crossing over now ?

where the hell did you get that conclusion from what i wrote

the question was asked
do you consider today's immigration situation better, same, or worse than five years ago?

i referenced an especially dire immigration circumstance
said nothing about who constituted immigrants arriving today
and if you want to know the numbers, do something different, look up some facts

That's nonsense. It's as easy and legitimate to claim that the reason right wingers are opposed to immigration is they know all 'those' people will become democratic voters.

No, they are opposed to ILLEGAL invasion. Immigrants are just as likely, in fact maybe more so, to become republican voters.

I suspect you referenced it for a reason.

Maybe you missed the point - the comment was nonsense, and so I proposed an equally stupid and baseless assertion.

Protestors block a lot of buses worldwide. I once sat in front of a bus filled with IMF delegates along with a lot of other people. When the bus tried to run us over, we threw cobble stones and cracked the windows. Does this civil unrest also validate my feelings of antipathy to the IMF as much as it gives validity to the anti-immigrant protest?

It's a good point Bubba, however, the two situations are vastly different, not only in scope, but in potential influx, and make up of the people coming here.

According to Global Security.org

"The Mariel Boatlift officially began April 15, 1980 and ended October 31, 1980, with the arrival of over 125,000 Cubans to Southern Florida from Port of Mariel, Cuba."

The make up of these people was of labor wage earning families, and like, NOT predominantly children. According to reports to date some 51,000 children as young as you can imagine (in diapers) have crossed the border and turned themselves in. Why?

IMHO, the projection of this administration to say that they would run blocker, and pave the way for this by their inept, inaction toward enforcing our border enforcement is a siren song for this to happen, if not a planned crisis. Not in the sense that this hyperbolic nonsense of "bringing down America" that so often hits the partisan airwaves, but rather a governing by distraction, and deflection....

Don't want coverage on Fast and Furious? in pops a crisis
Don't want coverage on Benghazi? in pops a crisis
Don't want coverage on Lois Lerner and the IRS? in pops a crisis
Don't want coverage on the VA? in pops a crisis

How much more of this foolish game will we stand for this childish game of distraction? It is a shame and insults the collective intelligence of every American citizen....

i grew up watching sleight of hand, with the giants of magic

David Copperfield & Doug Henning and so on

They got nothing on this administration

watch over "here".....we have to take your eyes off this story over "here"

you gotta admit....they are really really good at it.....

+1. It is hard for me to see how people can support a white house that will not take responsibility for its actions.
