Six immigration activists were arrested for protesting outside of Rep. Ed Royce's (R-Calif.) home office late Friday after they stopped traffic in the middle of a busy street outside Los Angeles, according to reports. The protest, organized by the Service Employees International Union, was one of dozens held around the country Friday to mark the one-year anniversary of the Senate passing a sweeping immigration bill, which would pave the way for 11 million illegal immigrants to stay in the country. But House Republicans have refused to take up similar legislation, angering many immigration activists.




In Washington, immigration activists also occupied House offices, The Hill reports.Royce, a Republican in a district where more than half of his constituents are Latino or Asian, has been the target of repeated immigration protests, sit-ins, and fasts, according to the Orange County Register. On Friday, many of the protesters arrived on buses from outside the district.

The SEIU being organized to gather on the issue of immigration means that the next months leading up to the mid-terms is going to be dominated by the media around a primary issue - Immigration. No accident, the SEIU being involved is purposeful and what Nancy Pelosi labeled "astro-turf" may grow in size. This may be a Democratic tactic to overshadow any other issue and attempt to make the mid-terms a singular issue. An interesting tactic but fraught with high blow back potential.

They sure learn fast about the ins and outs of causing problems, don't they? Maybe they should go home and apply the same tactics in their own countries. We're such pushovers to be intimidated by them!
 
The Mexican army helicopter attack on U.S. Border Patrol agents on the border was just a diversionary tactic while SEIU thugs/foot soldiers lay siege on Rep. Royce's office.
 
They really need to change the narrative from obummerscare, trading prisoners for deserters, scrubbing hard drives, and blaming YouTube videos before Nov.

Last I recall our nation was still free despite your ilk. Hence if I want to call him a deserter based on what I believe I am free to do so. Tough for you isn't it?

On one of the threads related to the Supreme Court decision to strike down the abortion protest buffer zone in Massachusetts, the pro-abortion zealots were claiming that now it should be fair game for anti-abortion protestors to be shot, under SYG legislation, if a person trying to enter an abortion clinic is in any way held up from entering.

I'd never seen so many bleeding heart liberals so quick to take up arms. I'm sure they will also be in favour of mass elimination of immigration protestors blocking roads too. Problems solved!!
