And the US has attacked for lots of reasons, including over non-existent WMD program's, oil, bananas, real estate, etc., but our interference in the ME is a documented reason for attacks against the West. Own it!
Killing one person is murder, killing 100,000 is foreign policy

That should be a wake up call for some but I doubt it. I see all those young men pouring through our open unprotected borders just about the same age as these terrorist fighters. That should be a wake up call as well. But I doubt it.
Of course, these guys have been sneaking through our southern border. An arab without a beard looks hispanic. We know that they have used cartels to smuggle people and equipment into the US for years. Its gets very little coverage.

As for the Kurds, I think a masterful move would be to get the Kurds to fight ISIS (there have been skirmishes) in exchange for territory or setting the foundation for a nation.

I know that, they also asked for aid from Iran. Thats not a good thing-it increases the influence of our enemies and adversaries while diminishing our own. Its a bad strategic move but our chump president does not care.

Second Consecutive Day of Airstrikes by Syria Is Aimed at Shoring Up Iraqi Armed Forces

BAGHDAD—Syrian warplanes carried out airstrikes in western Iraq, stepping up the military role of the U.S. adversary in helping Baghdad's Shiite-dominated government fight Sunni insurgents.

The strikes on Tuesday came as the Pentagon announced that the first 130 members of a potential 300 U.S. military advisers were in place in Baghdad to start assessing and improving the Iraqi army's ability to counter the gains of rebels led by the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham.

And the escalation continues. Under Obama our geopolitical adversaries fill the power vacuum.
All I can say is there is one heck of a mess in Iraq. The Shia government we installed has the backing of Iran, our enemy or adversary as we try to prevent them from getting nukes. The Shia government we installed has the backing of Syria and Assad, the same Assad we are attempting to overthrow or get rid of. The Shia government has our support. The Sunni Rebels are getting financial support from the Saudis, Kuwait and Qatar, our allies.

Does anybody have a scorecard or a program with all the names on it so I can keep it straight as to whom is involved and which side they are on?
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

That sounds like a plan I would support.

Russia and China were right, because they can read our chump president like an open book. Our president is weak and ineffective, and quite content with surrender to terror.

The war was the right thing to do. Bush screwed up the post war ops something fierce. Obama has consistently doubled down. Regardless...at the end of the day...the World loses with terrorist fundamentalist extremists controlling nations in the ME. The world should be engaging, not just the US. However...there is no reason why we should not be launching large scale drone attacks targeting terrorist groups. There is no reason why their uprising should be allowed to bloom into a full on rebellion and overthrow. NO ONE wins with ISIS and AL Qaeda in control there. They will make the Taliban look like pikers.
Absolutely. In context of the war on terror, it makes absolutely no sense to "end the wars" with a stronger and more formidable terrorist situation.

And what territory would we be stealing to give to the Kurds to build this new nation? I suppose you want to create even more enemies for the US!

Oh Obama has contributed to his share of the growing power of so called terrorist groups. Russia and China were right because Americas foreign policy in the ME has been wrong for decades.
