I'm married to a college educated woman, I admit that I am wrong at least once a day (even when I'm not).

Minimum wage like you said, which I didn't disagree with, is a state issue. However, when wages become stagnant and the state government sits on their hands while their citizens suffer is a time for federal intervention.

As I said earlier, I'm not a partisan and I put my fellow Americans before ANY labeling political ideology. Why can't you?

If you sincerely put the American people above politics then you wouldn't support a arbitrary Government mandated wage increase.

See a libertarian would never see using force to interfere in consensual transactions (labor agreements) as acceptable. Thats why we're confused. You think anyone who believes in limiting govt WANTS to hurt people.

You see, putting more money into the hands of the American people creates the atmosphere for economic growth and job creation. Reagan created 17 million jobs, Bush after 9/11 created 9 million jobs until 2008 and those results are undeniable. You claim it didn't have anything to do with the tax cuts but cannot prove differently. Will never understand people like you who seem to have a problem keeping more of what you earn and yet never question how your tax dollars are being spent by bloated Federal bureaucrats all because they tell you it is spending in the name of compassion.
Will you agree to stop spending money of wars? On nation building?

And no president created a single job. Not one. At least not outside of growing the government and government jobs.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

Lol because those who routinely call for a limited government pick & choose what to limit, sorta like how religious people pick & choose what tenants they'll live by & respect. When those two intersect, poor & disadvantaged people, ironically, get cast aside. But at the same time, they call for restricting a woman's right to make her own reproductive decisions. Or take natural disasters, you know, earthquakes/wild fires/mud slides/floods/tornadoes/hurricanes that completely destroy towns. I'm sure there are limited government spouting people that live in the affected area. Yet, "please help me government," comes out of their mouth. Essentially, the limited government crowd is against the other takers and not when they need something like help.

It's a bull**** dog & pony show, man.

    Nonsense.

ObamaCare's been killing job growth since it was passed.

That actually is a cop out and not the role of a bureaucrat in D.C. What does a bureaucrat in D.C. know about a problem in your community and what makes you think that bureaucrat can do a better job than your local community in solving a social problem? You put a lot of faith in a Govt. that has over 100 million people dependent on it and a 17.5 trillion dollar debt. Looks like a typical divert from your own personal issues and passing on your problems to the Federal Govt.
