In a short transcript of the conversation, a person identified as Sikorski by the magazine Wprost tells former finance minister, Jacek Rostowski, that Poles naively believe the U.S. bolsters their security. Using vulgar language, the person argues that such beliefs are nonsense, and that the Polish-U.S. alliance alienates the Russians and Germans.

Wprost last week set off a political storm in Poland with the release of a recording of a conversation between central bank head Marek Belka and Interior Minister Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz. In the recording the two discussed how the bank could help the governing party win re-election in 2015, an apparent violation of the bank's independence.....snip~

Despite the Poles finding themselves in their own scandals. This is now getting around. That with other leaders not having any confidence with the US. Or that we will even stick to our word. More and more are becoming vocal and it all has to do with BO and hi foreign policy. What say ye?

That's nothing. Republicans have known this same thing with regard to their ties to the US for years.

The difference is that the only group that Obama and his regime recognize as enemies with no relativistic BS to redefine it are the Republican and TEA Parties and anyone who does not renounce them in a quasi-religious oath of allegiance to Obama.

Candy Crowley and her ilk are at the front of the line to support the failed despot.
I am not of the mind that a man is either of science or of religion. At his best and his worst, man exists in the misty glimmering where the falling angel meets the rising ape. That he chooses a direction from that point defines him as human.

Well it doesn't help coming from those here now.....not when he has heard it from damn near every Continent out there. Plus wants the Poles to stand tall should Putin jump. Plus has trouble with Merkel. Its not looking good. BO's people are screw ups......they have never ran anything in their lives.

All know when BO makes a show.....its just a party and some laughs. Good camera face time.....of leaders having a good time. BO looking for some money for himself. Air Travel and Frequent Flyer Miles.

I don't want to look it up as I'm on a mobile right now, but I believe the French have over the past decade been spending in excess of 2.5 percent, while Germany was closer to 1 percent. Also the French have tended to intervene, when it seemed they needed to. That doesn't mean the French behavior was always helpful. It wasn't. But they do seem to have realized how much they harmed themselves with their Iraq policies and look as though they have realigned their security policy.

Yeah, they have been intervening and Filing Non Stop Resolutions in the UN. A lot for Enforceable action.

Also that was what was said, that Silenski was picked to replace Ashton for the EU. Although I am sure he isn't the only one.

To be honest Silenski didn't appear on my radar until relatively recently. He seems to be an integral part of the "we want more Europe" lobby. But I am not yet well enough briefed on the fellow.

An odd thing to say when the country is almost $20 trillion in debt and almost 50% of the population is receiving money from the government.

You would be welcome to it, MMC, because I don't get much pleasure from criticizing a country for which I have great regard.. But perhaps it's also time people had some hometruths arrive on their doorstep.
