John Doe prosecutors allege Scott Walker at center of 'criminal scheme'

An excuse for what? He asked 2 question and I answered them. FFS. Nobody said anything about excuses (except you).

Politically motivated sounds like an excuse. If politically motivated, ignore it. That sounds like an excuse. However, the question is whether he broke the law or not. Not anything else.

This is a major political bombshell. Looks like Governor Walker, who is considering a presidential run in 2016, is about to be indicted for corruption. But let me put a little wrinkle in this:

What is a felony in Wisconsin is perfectly legal in many other states, which begs the question..... Does Walker really deserve to go to prison over this? And this begs yet another question.... Is this investigation politically motivated?

Oh another campaign fund attack by the left while they make it sound as if he did something wrong - which he didn't.

Democrats have turned campaign fraud into an art form, then they dare attack a guy like Walker???

They're only attacking him because he's an anti-union republican. Now had he been Charlie Rangle everything would have been just ****ing fine and dandy and he would have had a standing ovation.

Then you need to ask the OP needs to update his questions. I copied them verbatim - and gave 3 word answers. Nobody asked if the politicial motivation was an excuse.

I also don't recall saying it should be ignored. Did I?

Yup, one of my questions was if it was politically motivated. Walker probably broke the law here, but the prosecution here does seem politically motivated. Karl Rove would be drooling to do the same if the shoe had been on the other foot. But, again, I ask "Is Wisconsin's law unconstitutional"? I haven't seen this question addressed by many, because they either want to attack Walker or defend Walker.

So what about the constitutionality of the Wisconsin law, as in First Amendment? Walker seems to be very interested in this aspect of the case, since this is the argument his legal team has been making for months.

No, the recall election has come and gone.

Then why the hunt for any kind of dirt on Walker by the other team? Both teams are dirty, so they need to realize this, get over the loss, and move on. That's all I'm saying. Ever since the recall the other team has been trying to dig up anything they can on Walker and I'm sick of hearing about it on local news. The state is fine. Jobs are slowly rising here and WI is one of the most solvent states when it comes to pensions. I have no issue with Walker.

smells like grasping for political straws. i find Walker to be the kind of idiot whose actions actively harm the average working American, but i hate this political witch hunt **** even more. everybody is doing this slimy funding stuff because we actively encourage rich people to buy our government. there might be a couple elected politicians who don't, but they are in the vast, vast minority.

folks on both sides, this is what gerrymandering, allowing the entities with money to buy the government, and extreme partisan attitudes are doing to your country. ask yourself if you're really ok with that.

Could you elaborate on what policy of his harms the average worker?

It's a travesty that politicians you support have opponents who think he should obey the law

Who said he broke the law? Show me the guilty verdict. Thats what I thought. I would focus more about the failed politics in NY if I were you rather than a state halfway across the US.

As the article points out, Walker has said this has already had State & Federal judicial review and they both said it was BS.
Was he wrong?

But the real irony here is that what Walker is accused of doing is a staple of the Democrat Party, probably both parties, actually, but the tactic was created by the Soros machine as a loophole in campaign finance laws which he was instrumental in pushing.

No ... this is strictly about trying to damage Walker for November 2014 and November 2016.
They cut down the fat guy now they need to cut down the bane of the Unions.

No this is not a MAJOR POLITICAL BOMBSHELL, but if you want one look at the Obama track record to date.

Do you believe OJ was innocent of murder?

Thats the justice system. Not OJs fault the prosecution were too busy trying to be TV stars rather than do their jobs properly. The prosecution LET him win. Lets not compare apples with oranges.

Ahh, I see! You think OJ was guilty even though there was no guilty verdict but Walker must be innocent because there is no guilty verdict

They aren't even reporting this correctly. Walker already won this issue and now the other team is trying to avoid a lawsuit from O'Keefe.

This is a unsealing of the John Doe 2 investigation by the Milwaukee County D.A. Now, 2 judges one being Judge Randa at the 7th circuit in Chicago had seen the allegations and ruled that there is no improprieties at all. Meaning they have no suit. Second the unsealing is because Eric O'Keefe is suing the entire prosecution team on civil rights charges. Wisconsin Club for Growth is run by O'Keefe. The prosecutors were hell bent on getting Walker at all cost and got a little over zealous because O'Keefe e-mailed Karl Rove. Their thought process was money laundering and wire fraud. However, the silly MSM thinks it was unsealed to prove Walker's guilt, this is very inaccurate. The unsealing is for the civil rights charges being brought by O'Keefe and CFG/Wisconsin (they are suing the prosecution remember). Also to note, with no press coverage by the elite MSM, is that the prosecution team met with Walker two weeks ago to cut a deal. They met because in the civil rights case, when discovery happens, these prosecutors are scared to death that their illegal actions will cost them dearly.

WI Dems take their anti-conservative John Doe probe to the media

Buy yeah, believe the hype. I would be sweating if I were Chisholm.

Blady blah. Apples and oranges. It was already proven as not guilty of anything. Just read up on the subject rather than spout your nonsensical comparisons. The issue now is the guiltiness of John Doe prosecutors’ abuse of government power.

The same people who claim they're against "injustice" are committing it.

he pushed through the ****ty right to work bill. i can't support union busting in this economy. we need more organization of labor right now, not less.

still, these stupid hyperpartisan witch hunts are completely counterproductive, and they are not how elections should be won. if the lower socioeconomic classes are careless enough to vote against their own interests, then so be it; that's how democracy works. the real problems in our system are gerrymandering and allowing the very wealthy to purchase the system. unfortunately, i doubt that we'll effectively address these problems in my lifetime. those who benefit from the status quo are too well entrenched. pressure will have to be significant, and it will have to come from the bottom up.

So what does this do to the concept of "equal treatment under the law"?

Nothing. You can't apply the federal constitution to a state statute except to attack the statute as unconsitutional. You need to apply the state's constitution. My guess is the statute applies to everyone in Wisconsin.

That is npt issue here - quite frankly I'm happy you suffer... Your suffering puts a smile on my face. Welcome to the real world where people have to work.

I was under the impression that the John Doe investigation was shut down by both state and federal courts. Not true?

and a happy Friday to you, as well. perhaps your enjoyment of the suffering of others will advance the libertarian cause which you so effectively promote.

These are all like but I would love to see ani-Walker supporters do is go hungry because of thier lackof wanting to work.....GOOD BLAME OBAMA.

I don't mind right to work. Unions had their time, now they are only another form of corruption. That is another debate I guess.

I agree on the silliness of this whole John Doe I and II witch hunt. The prosecuters just wasted taxpayer money to get sued. Its so dumb its hilarious. Its as if people striving for power never matured farther than high school.

Yeah, because that's a sane thought.

I hope the truth comes out.

Makes no difference what laws might be different in his state - if he broke the law, he now pays.

His legal ignorance is no excuse.
