Syria pounds ISIL bases in coordination with Iraq: NGO

Beirut (AFP) - Syria's army has been pounding for 24 hours major bases of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in coordination with the Baghdad government, a monitor said Sunday. The strikes against ISIL -- which has spearheaded a week-long jihadist offensive in Iraq -- have been more intense than ever, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. "The regime air force has been pounding ISIL's bases, including those in the northern province of Raqa and Hasakeh in the northeast," which borders Iraq, said the Britain-based group.

The regime of President Bashar al-Assad was responding to the fact that ISIL "brought into Syria heavy weapons including tanks" captured from the Iraqi army.

In Raqa, the air force bombed the area surrounding ISIL's main headquarters in Syria, as well as the group's religious courts, said the Observatory, adding there were no reported casualties . On Saturday, the regime also bombarded ISIL's headquarters at Shaddadi in Hasakeh, home to a frontier crossing from Iraq that is under the jihadists' control.....snip~

I wouldn't know anything Rush Limbaugh is saying unless someone posts something up. I never listen to him. Also If you want to know more with what is taking place with Maliki and Iraq.

    Then you can look here.

Oh so now he needs permission, I thought he had a pen and was Commander-in-Chief. Why, you're just supporting an incompetent pussy.

That would be you southern cons, who are now GOPs.
Not to mention that sleazy deal by your Louisiana electors in 1876, giving away the Presidency to remove Union troops, as if Tilden wouldn't have .
The sad part, is you understand my point and don't even know it.

Right. Leftists are concerned about 'inflaming' Arabs but the Arabs certainly aren't worried about 'inflaming' Americans. That's what happens with weak leadership and blindly naive followers.

So...first no troops to Iraq...and now some troops to Iraq.

    So much for Obama's word.

But I am quite sure liberals will make excuses for him...again.

(Once again, I am neither Dem nor Rep)
Obama can also consider leaving office immediately.
