Yeah well after we get it back this next time.....we need to overturn and run out any of his puppets remaining. In any place he has touched.

Although I am against Lifetime appointments. Moreover.....any over 65 years of age should be psychologically evaluated every 3 years. By an Independent.....who will make sure that none of them are entering senility or having any conditions that would affect their mental faculties.

All of BO's picks should be tested for Bi-polar conditions, ADHD, and that Optional Defiance Disorder. Just sayin!

Ginsburg should definitely be checked for senility. Especially after her trip to Egypt and what she said there. Wonder what she has to say about the MB now? Bet she wishes she could take back those words.....huh? Caught for all eternity.

She was always a progressive piece of crap, should have been removed for that speech against the constitution because it pretty much invalidates her oath to uphold it, but she said it during bo's term so what he would replace her with can only be worse.

And I might agree with you on that
BUT
the government uses these exceptions to severe excess especially the felony exception. There some really stupid felony level laws that would preclude ownership or possession that have nothing to do with violence.

See I would harp about her sanity, and mental faculties. Forcing her to be psych evaluated. Talking the whole time.....that if they find anything. Then any ruling she made has to be readdressed and corrected. Point out that we can't have people making such decisions that have Syndromes or some Bipolar condition.

If I was a reporter.....I would ask her publicly how many personalities does she have. :shock:

That is not the proper definition of a straw purchase; IMHO a straw purchase uses the funds of the transferee to make the purchase. What, if any, waiting period is required between the initial purchase and the transfer to another person to make it not be considered to be a "straw purchase"? For example, if I wish to give my spouse, son, daughter, relative or friend a gun for Christmas and buy it in September or November is that gift then illegal?

That's a good question.....but then one could show it was bought legally. Or how about for a sons 18th or 21st Birthday and bought 6 months to a year before.

That is the root of my question; if a gun is bought then how long before one can legally gift, or otherwise transfer, it?

In the case that is the root of the decision, it is pretty cut and dry the purchase was not done within the law's intent. It was done in order to receive a discount...

Wouldn't it be under State law? Each State's own Law?

there is no time requirement

Now if you are selling guns from your own collection without an FFL and you buy a gun from someone and try to sell it within a day of buying it, that will be deemed intent of purchasing for the purpose of sale which means you are dealing without a license

Case in point. I'd see guys at gun shows selling a few guns with notification-private collection. They'd sometimes buy guns from patrons of the show. If they put that gun out for sale they were asking to be busted by the ATF stingers who where there

Where did you come up with "within a day" if there is no time limit?

As I understand the law, it is illegal for me to accept money from you and then buy you a gun from a FFL. But if I buy a gun, even from a FFL, using my own funds, then I can later gift or sell that gun (which is then my personal property) whenever I wish to.
