    Re: Eric Cantor is Gone

What should give strength and renewed hope to so many Americans as a result of this election is how easy it was to fire a lying, sell out ahole.

Certainly the rest of the RINOs will notice that inescapable fact.

Now, Cantor and Henry Guiterrez can take their traveling road show down to Mexico, where they are more appreciated.

The base might like it, but it hurts the party involved at a national level as it gets further and further from the political center. Now as a result of this House Republicans will move even further to the right for fear of losing in a primary. I am sure the hard core base will like that, but it hurts them even more at the national level.
"Expert" Larry Sabato gave this congressional district at 57% GOP on cable tonite, not impossible for a DEM.
Only 65,000 people voted, out of the potential of 700,000 in the GOP primary, since it was an open primary.
Cantor won last time with over 200,000 votes.
At the end, Dems drafted a candidate for the 7th.

Isn't that how Cruz won last time, in a 3-way primary.
Then a RINO couldn't do a 3-way on him in Texas
Like Crist tried to do to Rubio in Florida.

Good luck with the 3rd party Libertarian thing and the split of the GOP.
Then we can be like Europe, which the GOP Loves, and that .

We almost got Rauner that way bro--I voted for Dillard.

    Brilliant.
Only 65,000 voted--turn-out will be the key for both parties this time as always.
Except that the fissure is a little wider in the GOP, though they have "safer" candidates so far.
    /sigh.
McDaniel could drag down your whole party in November like Akin/Mourdock did .

Ohhhhhh, so by "sore loser" laws you mean the law requiring a candidate to get more than 50% of the vote and if they don't they go to a run off? I think that makes sense in that it avoids someone winning an election where they didn't even get a simple majority of the votes.

You do remember John Sununu and Pat Buchanon and their feelings about Jews don't you?

No--I mean if you lose in the primary you cannot run 3rd party in November, as GOP female Sen. Murkowski did and won.
I'm pretty sure you have one.
I think all states should be the same for FEDERAL offices, but I would, I'm against 10th amendment abuses both ways.
In your state offices, go bonkers.
We'll be waiting on the Louisiana run-off in December for the Senate .
