Job Cuts in May Reach Highest Level in More than a Year

'Job cuts in May rose to the highest level in more than a year, with the technology sector being hardest hit, according to outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas.

U.S.-based employers said they intended to cut 52,961 jobs, a 31% increase from April and the largest one-month total since February 2013, when 55,356 job cuts were recorded, according to figures compiled by the outplacement firm.'

This must be some mistake - we have been told over and over that once the bad winter weather is over that the economy would really pick up.

I guess it must have snowed a ton in May in America...even though nobody saw it.

That is why there was a big increase in job cuts during the month, the snow....that no one saw.

As long as we don't get our fiscal, monetary and currency acts together, it would be quite optimistic to believe that: "There Will Be Jobs!".
