Gwyneth Paltrow: Mean words hurt water's feelings | Fox News

The Oscar winning actor and mother of two believes bad vibes can bum out water.

Yes, we’re talking H2O.

“I am fascinated by the growing science behind the energy of consciousness and its effects on matter,” she wrote on her website GOOP. “I have long had Dr Emoto's coffee table book on how negativity changes the structure of water, how the molecules behave differently depending on the words or music being expressed around it.”

Her scientists friend Dr. Habib Sadeghi described an experiment where “Emoto poured pure water into vials labelled with negative phrases like 'I hate you' or 'Fear'. After 24 hours, the water was frozen, and no longer crystallised under the microscope: It yielded grey, misshapen clumps instead of beautiful lace-like crystals.”

From the same science that brought you anthropogenic global warming.....

Who knew water had feelings?

She is an idiot. I'll bet she voted for Obama.

well just like everyone else...those ice cubes will just have to get over it

Well thank the heavens! I knew beer and I had a special relationship...it loves me back.

Yep, it explains so much. The world makes sense now.

I'd respond but I'm afraid the glass of water next to me on my desk might get angry and try to kill me.

Especially watch your tone when you're taking a leak.

Well Scotch can hold its own against " mean words " thats for sure ".

Whiskey encourages mean words so its hard to feel sorry for it.

In fact ( I likes me some Scotch ....in moderation ofcourse ) Single Malt fires off a offensive before any " mean words " can be uttered.

You know right after you just suppressed your brain telling you that " hey dumb ass, you're drinking fire " there are guaranteed to be a couple of "mean words "

Gwyneth Paltrow: I open my mouth and stupid comes out.

I am not sure you understand what is being spoken about.
It isn't from the same science of AGW.

Nor is it that water has feelings, but more like you transfer your feelings unto the water.

Hey, I have to give some capitalist credit here - selling books about transferring feelings to water --- pure genius. People believing it... priceless.

Supposedly the experiment is repeatable and has been repeated more than several times.
What is not to believe about that?

It's been repeatedly debunked. While interesting pseudo-science coupled with new age enlightenment sells books, I find it humorous people believe it. But hey, if it makes you happy do it.

Um, no, that's not the "same science" that brought global warming.

So they changed the magnification so you can't see the crystaline structure on the bad water. Oh, and they got the amount of water in the human body wrong too.

Actually no it hasn't. The process is repeatable. Why it happens though may be another issue.
It still happens though.

She is an idiot. I'll bet she voted for Obama.

Some people believe in people who claim they can talk to water. Others believe a guy walked on it.

Both seem pretty crazy to me.

??? Anybody can talk to water. What is not to believe about that?

It is if you think the water is answering where the problem occurs.

Use a search engine, type in "masaru emoto debunked" and have a nice night with your emotional water.:2wave:

I am not unfamiliar with this topic. There has been no debunking of the process. It happens.

Another victim of the bull**** movie called "What the Bleep do we know"

Maybe when you talk to water, you can ask it how to debate on a political forum and it will give you much needed tips in it's crystalline form. :lamo

I heart for Gwyneth Paltrow..........................
