Yes, under fraud. The predicate events for that invasion were very much a false flag operation.
And what is your understanding of the reason for the military invasion of Afghanistan?

I'm wondering if you ignore history because you just don't know...or because you'd rather satisfy your bias.

There was no "false flag" involved in the invasion and ousting of the Taliban. Right after 9/11, we told the Taliban to turn over Al-Qaeda to us...or else. They selected "or else". We...and our allies...shoved them out of power and sent them packing. Along the way, we killed and captured a whole bunch of the Al-Qaeda organization.

Don't hit him with fact. He probably thinks Cheney set charges personally to bring the tower's down.

To catch the boogie man who flew those airplanes into those towers, of course.

I think you know what I was asking....Are you saying that AQ wasn't behind those attacks, or that they were no problem for the US?

Straight answer--I'm just an ordinary citizen near retirement who did ROTC and the Vietnam thing in a Helicopter Ambulance unit.

There seems to be a fairly strong case that AQ and the US were somehow partners in getting the Russians out of Afghanistan. Discovering as a young 2Lt how the CIA really worked, I can imagine how deep and how long our ties to AQ really are.

There are so many factual problems with the official story regarding the events of the day at WTC and elsewhere that it simply cannot be true. Not trying to hijack or derail the thread. It's just a straight answer.

So if the story cannot be true, it is not true. It cannot be proved that any aircraft were hijacked that day, and 2 of the 4 were not even where they were supposed to be.

No sir, AQ was not "behind" the attacks, though it is certainly possible that they played along with their previous handlers. I don't know the details because I wasn't in on it.

I don't understand either why we returned five of theirs for one of ours.
They are not Americans, they don't have the same rights as us to things like speedy trials.

Well, I'll just say that I don't buy into the 9/11 truther nonsense....And to tell you the truth, I am disappointed in some of the otherwise intelligent seeming people that do....
