Holder is certainly pressing for it.. Eric Holder seeks to change laws allowing ex-convicts to vote - WSJ

We can see also that the Democrats are also against voter ID, which certainly helps them with the Hispanic vote.

I didn't do the study. Did you seriously believe it was mostly Republicans in the slammer?
The reason most ex-cons are Democrats is because most ex-cons are poor and minorities, two demographics the Republicans have made their hay off crapping all over for decades.
Exactly. The Dems continue giving them handouts to keep them poor and dependent, while the Republicans want it only for the genuinely needy. There is a very good reason why Obama is called "The Food Stamp President" and they are encouraging more Americans to get on board as well.

I was referring more to your usual blanket use of "left" as a pejorative.

Voting rights are a "handout"? Also, as stated earlier, giving convicts their voting rights back is generally not a mainstream Democratic Party position, Eric Holder's opinion notwithstanding. But please, continue spewing your usual GOP talking points.

Yes, because conservative spinmeisters have to find some way to pin it on him that the economy went tits up and people had to go on the SNAP program to survive.

Of course it's a pejorative, and for good reason.

    Voting rights are a "handout"?
You ask this question and wonder why 'left' is used as a pejorative.

It's the Obama administrations desire as well, lefty, as you would have seen in the link.

Obama says the economy is fine. Which one of you is the liar? White House says economy has vastly improved since Obama took over - YouTube

You didn't even know this???And you feel offended when the the left is accused of ongoing and rampant stupidity? Government runs ads to get more people on food stamps - Jun. 25, 2012

Only ideologues attempt to use "left" and "right" as insults.

Apparently there's also, quoted from the article "some conservative lawmakers in Congress" who are also for it.

"Vastly improved" from **** is still ****. Of course, since you are hellbent on whitewashing your "side's" role in the economy's collapse, it's little wonder that you're attacking Obama for it.

All I asked for was a citation. You're the one who took it down Personal Attack Boulevard.

    Could be.
Oh, I know why you use it as a pejorative.
And why is that? It is from years of experience.
Apparently there's also, quoted from the article "some conservative lawmakers in Congress" who are also for it.
Some Republicans might be for it, yes..

There seems to be some confusion among the left whether the economy is better, worse, or much the same. But in any case the food stamp use is growing much faster than any segment of the economy.

With the country in $$%trillions in debt that pushing of food stamps, even among illegal immigrants, and even in Mexico, is something every voter should know about. But I suppose that's what happens when you are being poorly served by the MSM.

Anything which undermines the sacredness of the peoples vote is a type of vandalism and violence and that includes Mike Turzai's nefarious plan as well as Thad McCotter defrauding the voters of his district for at least two terms.

    Moderator's Warning:
Vandals destroy Republican candidate’s campaign office:not random [W:43:128]The topic is not food stamps or anything else that's been dragged into the discussion. It is:

Vandals destroy Republican candidate’s campaign office: This was ‘no random act

Let's get back to that topic and leave out the baiting as well.

This is the important stuff. We can’t get lost in discrimination. We can’t get lost in B.S. We can’t get lost tearing each other down. I want to make a point here that no matter what you look like, where you come from, how you worship, who you love, how you identify, and yeah, how you run, that if you have good public policy ideas, if you are well qualified for office, bring those ideas to the table, because this is your America, too. This is our commonwealth of Virginia, too.

How about this? This good enough for you?

    Abortion clinic bombings? Democrats?

Vandalism reported at offices of three Democrats - CNN.com

perhaps you should maybe think of another tactic?

I cited several incidents of right-perpetrated vandalism; they were ignored. Apparently, as per usual, they Don't Count.
