Sorry Con.....but considering that you believe that GWB led us to economic Utopia.....I'm sorry that we give your claims so very little credibility. Are things perfect....absolutely not. Not even close....but In the words of Ronald Reagan...."Are we better off than we were 6 years ago"? I would venture to guess that 85% of America would answer yes.

Ask the Democrats that controlled Congress why they were more interested in regaining the WH than doing their job? Tell me the truth, when you voted for Obama in 2008 and he said he would transform America were you and he on the same page and did you expect what we have today? Your GW Bush fixation is quite a story. He has been out of office 6 years to tell me what economic results Obama has that are better than Bush's? Are we better off today than 6 years ago? Interesting question. I am not better off but then again the recession of 07-09 didn't hurt me or my family as much as the 81-82 Carter recession. Seems that economic facts aren't of any value to liberal partisan's like you.

Obama said he would transform America so tell me is this the transformation you voted for?

It isn't so much a "fixation" by me....as it is a denial by you. You want to act as if Obama didn't inherit an incredible mess from the previous administration, but reality doesn't operate in a vacuum as you would like it to. You cannot talk about where we are today, without comparing it to where we were when we started. By those numbers Obama has done a good job of rescuing us from the brink of economic and moral bankruptcy. Has Obama succeeded to my expectations? Not even close. I blame that partly on Republican obstructionism, but also blame Obama on his naivety and his lack of a backbone to push through some of the transformations that he promised. I also think that Obama made some bad choices continuing some of the GWB policies that he would have been better kicking to the road. I guess it comes down to this. It is better to reach for the stars and fail....than to reach for failure and succeed. We are nowhere where we need to be, but we are absolutely much better off today than we were when Obama took office. To deny this is just silly.

Much of the mess was media driven. How did the recession of 2007 affect you and your family? What was the misery index Obama inherited? You and your ilk simply don't understand leadership or responsibilities of leadership. We are 6 years into the Obama Administration and you are still blaming Bush for the results today. Sorry but the facts are the economy is stagnant, unemployment/under employment is still as high as it was when he took office, debt is 6.7 trillion greater and yet Obama still has your support. That says a lot about you and the other Obama apologists.

it takes the minority and the majority parties cooperation in order to accomplish things in both the house and senate. you cannot just pin the blame on one side.

How is that Hope and Change working out for you and the state of California? Have the taxpayers bailed you out yet? Don't think that any liberal from California has a lot of credibility in talking about economics as well as foreign policy issues.

Wrong, there are no filibuster rules in the House and as for the Senate tell me exactly what Obama wanted that he didn't get?4

i was talking within the context of 2007-2008. obama was not president during 2007-20008.

No question about it, billions in debt, among the highest unemployment in the nation, an entitlement mentality. You bet, California is the crowning jewel of the liberal socialist society. Congratulations.

California has almost 1.45 million unemployed people and an entitlement mentality. Apparently that is the success you want to spread to the rest of the country
