I for one, would not take my car to Mexico, if I could walk.
The area looks to be under construction also, things do change.
Do you think he was taking his guns to Mexico to sell?
No. And he will ultimately be released.

A couple of months isn't out of the ordinary for someone to be held in pre-trial confinement. It happens quite alot even in this country.

    Its sarcasm.

Just because another country doesn't operate like we do, or like we would like them to, you suggest we boycott any and all who aren't like us? You suggested it...

No, you inferred it. If I wanted to say we boycott all countries I would say so.

I was being sarcastic, though less obviously apparently.

Really, how many Mexican citizens that mistakenly enter the US, and thrown in prison....? I'll wait...
Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

Or better yet, just threaten to send the illegals back to Mexico. He'd be released immediately.
That is an awesome Idea. Lets allocate millions upon millions of dollars to deport millions of illegal aliens for one person in a Mexican jail.

Better yet. Lets do the deporting and leave him there.

You entirely missed the point of my post. It was not about trying to tie this into an immigration issue... because this isn't about immigration.

It was about the fact that he is being held in pre-trial confinement and it is blowing peoples minds because they don't understand WTF pre-trial confinement is.

As for mistakenly.... who are you to say for certain he did in fact "mistakenly" enter Mexico? And, for that matter, why are you ignoring the fact he brought weapons across the border when he was not allowed to do that.

The weapons are what got him in trouble... not just crossing the border... whether purposefully or "mistakenly".
