The incompetent Obama White House throws another person under the bus. This isn't the first time that the Obama White House has outed out someone, they outed out a British intelligence informant for political gain back in 2012. Not to mention >"The identities of at least three CIA station chiefs in Pakistan have been exposed in recent years. In one case, a CIA officer became a target of death threats after his cover was blown, forcing the agency to rush him out of the country."<

White House mistakenly identifies CIA chief in Afghanistan

>" The CIA’s top officer in Kabul was exposed Saturday by the White House when his name was inadvertently included on a list provided to news organizations of senior U.S. officials participating in President Obama’s surprise visit with U.S. troops.

The White House recognized the mistake and quickly issued a revised list that did not include the individual, who had been identified on the initial release as the “Chief of Station” in Kabul, a designation used by the CIA for its highest-ranking spy in a country.

The disclosure marked a rare instance in which a CIA officer working overseas had his cover — the secrecy meant to protect his actual identity — pierced by his own government..."<

Yeah… that's not good.

Yeah… that's not good.

So the question is, what in hell was Obama doing in Afghanistan ?

Was it another photo op ?

Sure hope Air Force One wasn't burning up Obama's green PC fuel at $150. per gallon just to have some selfies taken half way around the world.

I would assume for at least two reasons: to meet with our men & women over there & Karzai to try and iron out the future security arrangement.

Supposedly, Karzai refused to meet with President Obama.

I heard that Obama didn't meet with Karzai. First I heard that Karzai refused to meet with Obama.

A competent administration would have made sure that a meeting was going to take place before flying halfway around the world.

And what would a community organizer know about security arrangements ? :lamo

Probably why Karzai snubbed Obama.

And no one will lose his/her job.

Repeat after me, Valerie Plame.

Hey, remember when an Analyst, instead of an actual covert operative was outed in the Bush administration and everyone was convinced that it was the result of an evil plot?

Repeat after me, Valerie Plame.

Ok, Valerie Plame.

And what's your point ?

No body in the Bush administration ****ed up, it was deliberately done.

Valerie Plame was not a CIA station chief or a CIA officer or a CIA operative. She was a frickin secretary who no longer had any connections to the CIA.

My point is the hypocrisy............watch as the lefties circle the wagons around this **** up.

He pissed someone off that works in the WH.

Valerie Plame was outed intentionally. This guy was outed accidentally. It's a colossal ****-up to be sure but let's not ignore the double standard.

At this point it seems the federal government has decided "you know what, **** it, let's just leak **** ourself!"

Where are the Obama supporters at on this one? Those same people were screaming bloody murder over Valerie Plame and yet there is silence on this? This is a colossal **** up by an administration that has proven itself on numerous occasions to be completely incompetent and now they have put even more American lives at risk.

This was an accident... Valerie Plame was deliberate. Big difference.

It is like when GOP congressmen release top secret information "by mistake"...

Valerie Plame was neither a CIA operative let alone a station chief. Sorry petey, but all the excuses you can pull out of a hat won't excuse this administration's continual lack of conpetence.

The CIA said she was, end of story. Your GOP talking points to find an excuse for Darth Vader and his minions are pathetic.

Not to mention what Maggie already pointed out...Where's the accountability? Who will get fired for this? Anyone?

The only difference that matters is that Valerie Plame was a former field agent in the DC bureaucracy.....the Section Chief in Afghanistan was in field, a very hostile field at that!

Obama is making Bush look like Einstein, what an incompetent this President and Administration is

Well the station chief will lose his job, to be replaced by an unknown.

Obama is the Commander-In-Chief of the USA's military until January, 2017.

He was visiting some of his troops.
