devoting significant resources to a near perpetual state of war for almost a century is a poor use of those resources, IMO. we've done that for long enough. time to try something else.

I guarantee you that G.W. Bush, Scooter Libby and a few other people from the Bush mis-administration are very familiar with that person.
It was Novac with the Chicago Tribune who made it public about Valerie Plame not the Bush administration.

Two years after the story broke we found out the truth from Novac, Bush, Cheney, Libby weren't involved it was someone who worked for Sec. of State, Colin Powell who mentioned to Novac that Valerie Plame was a low level secretary/analyst who use to work for the CIA.

Plame wasn't a CIA station chief or a CIA officer or a CIA operative just a low level paper pusher who was no longer involved with the CIA.

Hell, if I were burning some prime poppy in my hookah, I wouldn't want to meet anyone either, unless they wanted to partake in the activity too.

Colin Powell was a member of the G.W. Bush mis-administration.

Every leader (Including G. W. Bush.) is ultimately responsible for what every person serving under him does or fails to do.

Why did Libby obstruct justice and then resign? Isn't that the sign of a ratfink?

Um, this was an administrative leak from multiple sources.

Seriously, you think there was some ultimate responsibility held in the Plame outing?

    Uh....whu?
Hypothetically, if Plame's outing was due to incompetence would the Democrats and the Media given the GOP a pass ?

Considering clowns like Harry Ried were standing up in the Senate Lamenting the failure of Bush's surge before it was over I sincerely doubt they would have.

But since you people are justifying this as a "Mistake" anyway why should it go unpunished ?

Why should no one be held accountable ?
