How would outing that his wife worked for the CIA "embarrass" him? Is having a spouse employed by the CIA embarrassing?

I am sure she was in harm's way going to work at the CIA daily. Again, if you believe what you believe why don't you condemn what the Obama Administration did in Afghanistan? Why is it that when anything happens in the Obama Administration you resort to finding something similar in the Bush Administration as if that justifies the action now?

Oh please! Cry me a river of crocodile tears....I suppose liberal progressives NEVER play the victim.....

That's right now. Come back in thirty years and tell us how the GOP is doing in Texas.

Um, to have your wife's career destroyed is very damaging.

We shall see in 2016, I predict that the GOP candidate will get his ass kicked.

Aw, yes, so little faith in the American people who are already tired of liberalism with Obama. Guess high debt, high unemployment, high govt. dependence, and low economic growth aren't as popular as you seem to believe

FITZGERALD: That's the way this investigation was conducted. It was known that a CIA officer's identity was blown, it was known that there was a leak. We needed to figure out how that happened, who did it, why, whether a crime was committed, whether we could prove it, whether we should prove it.

And given that national security was at stake, it was especially important that we find out accurate facts.
    He was never questioned.
