I can't say I would call it good. Extremely repetitive for starters, he must have told the exact same story 50 times about how jealous he was of some random tall guy with his hot blonde girlfriend. Over and over with the same crap about how unfair and cruel women were, when it seemed to me that there was only ONCE that he even actually TRIED to do something as simple as striking up a simple conversation. The girls at the bus stop is a perfect example. He didn't even say anything, but went ballistic and threw his drink at them because they didn't smile at him. Pretty obvious the little **** didn't have the slightest bit of game, and just expected to show up somewhere and have women throw themselves at him. He deserved to have his ass beaten many times throughout the story (and way worse than he got at that frat party).

I didn't see that at first. Too bad he is dead as this is exactly the type of person I wouldn't mind using taxpayers money to keep his scrawny ass in prison for life.

I would say the majority of people in the world justify everything they do- its part of human nature to find reasons to support your behavior regardless if its good or bad.
 
I am curious to see how all of the political spin goes once the news starts really rolling on the aftermath.

1. He was a liberal, so all the conservatives will be out in full force.
2. He used guns, so all the liberals will be out in full force.
3. He played video games, so Thompson and Fox News will be all over it.
4. The whole MRA vs feminists angle.

On a good note though, it was reported that one of the girls he shot in front of the sorority house took a bullet to the kidney, and when help arrived she was on the phone with her Mother saying she didn't think she was going to make it. Turns out she DID make it, and it sounds like she is going to be okay. I can't even imagine getting that call, and felt awful for that girl's mother. Shame that the others in this story weren't as lucky, and my heart goes out to the parents and other loved ones of the murdered victims.

Thank god he didn't get IN to the sorority house, due to a locked door and bad timing. He had ~400 un-shot rounds in something like 35 loaded magazines. This could have been a LOT worse, sadly.

My own experience is with a case more similar to that being discussed sans the severity of the outcome. Repeated pleas were ignored during escallating episodes requiring police intervention until such a time that the behavior became so criminal it couldn't be ignored.

Mass murder of 6 million instead of six.

Now,when people are finished discussing how many Angels can dance on the head of a pin, perhaps they can turn their attention to the real issue -- mental health and the best way to deal with such so as to prevent further incidents such as this.

Good question. He was apparently getting professional help from multiple sources. He was prescribed medication but refused to take it. What else CAN anyone really do when the warning signs aren't all fully out in the open yet? I honestly don't know. He seemed semi-normal-ish to police and mental health professionals, but secretly has all of THIS planned out:

It's my understanding that his family had reported him to the police for his video, and the cops dropped the ball. His video sounds like he's out of touch with reality . . . maybe he thought a message would pop up when he was through: Game Over. Play Again?

He was seeing 2 psychiatrists and had a case worker assigned to him. He had been diagnosed with Aspergers and had been given a prescription for Risperidone, which he refused to take.

That line in there...it is not surprising. "Things will be fair once I make them suffer as I did". Fair. Ugggggh. Everyone else got a trophy...he should have gotten one too. Its not 'fair'.

That might justify his need for the Barbie doll girl, as was mentioned earlier in this thread. He obviously doesn't like black people, he obviously doesn't like Hispanics -- he seemed to be looking for one sort of thing, and when he didn't get it, it set him off.

Being rich like that is probably lame. These type of guys make the normal shy guy type look really bad though. I always had trouble meeting women, but I was not picky. I took any that came my way. If you are rich it probably becomes such a self esteem issue. He goes to the frat girls to bother them. I dated a hispanic and a white girl if she had schizophrenia. Of course I feel misogynistic too sometimes, but this pickiness doesnt work for the introvert.

The cops had their chance to prevent this, just like the parents, his family and friends, and the mental health professionals.

They all failed, as usual, and I will not be a victim because of their pathetic complacency.
