Ex-CNN employee claims boss fired him for being gay, called him ‘flamboyant’ in $60 m

Re: Ex-CNN employee claims boss fired him for being gay, called him ‘flamboyant’ in $

I didn't see that at all. He mentioned the mariachi suit by copying the words straight from the article he linked.

Then when he was posting his own words, it seems he was poking fun at mariachi suits.

I didn't see him say or imply this guy wore the suit to work.

Erod admitted he would get paid 60 million dollars to wear a yellow mariachi suit, so he is implying he would wear a yellow mariachi suit to work then sue the company if they fired him. I was pointing out to him that's not what this guy did so that's not a fair comparison.

Well, I certainly can't read Erod's mind, but since he didn't make any mention of the guy wearing that suit to work, either in his own words or when he copied words from his link, I wouldn't know what he's implying unless it was there in his words.

How does he and his lawyer come up with $60 large? Does a microphone tech even come close to making that much dough in their career lifetime? LOL What mental anguish? Pulheese.

It was a joke.

Re: Ex-CNN employee claims boss fired him for being gay, called him ‘flamboyant’ in $

I want more information on this. From the accounts he is giving, it does sound like the reason he was fired was because his boss/work center (?) was not comfortable with him being gay, not because of the clothes he was wearing or that his actions/attire violated any actual workplace codes for the times in question (he says there was a day that people wore bright colored shirts/clothing).

There absolutely could be more to this that is not being disclosed here though. The other side would be needed to to really know if he has a case here or not.

The $60M and "Rosa Parks" thing is a bit much. It has nothing to do with whether or not his lawsuit is warranted, but it would have looked better either way with a lower amount and not having compared himself to Parks. If he wins, hopefully he doesn't get anywhere close to that amount. I can't think of much that would justify $60M for a wrongful firing situation.

Ex-CNN employee claims boss fired him for being gay, called him

Gay people are funny. A yellow mariachi suit? LOLOLOLOLOL

And a bit of advice, black Americans are tired of you comparing your "struggles" to theirs. It's absurd.

Rosa Parks? Really?

I will admit I'd wear a yellow mariachi suit for $60 million. Probably not $50 million though. I have standards.

Wow that's pretty ****ed up, one guy does something and you make a sweeping generalization about millions of people who have no connection to him whatsoever.

What kinda person does that? Idiots.

Reading comprehension would have lead you to this conclusion eve if he didn't explicitly say it.
