What political gain can there be in an inquiry regarding what happened in Benghazi unless one party was systemically lying throughout the entire affair. Otherwise it will probably backfire on the Republicans, correct? In the meanwhile an inquiry needs to be held in order to discover what happened, what went wrong, and to ensure it never happens again.

of course i don't want embassy attacks to happen. where were the congressional inquiries for each of the embassy attacks i linked upthread, though? also, please include links to two years of fox saturation coverage of those attacks as well.

Should this be let go, the deaths of those men, to avoid the appearance of "politics"? At some point you need to realize this REALLY happened, and people are REALLY dead. We need to find out what happened, and the White house will only do that if forced.

Or is it that the Democrats CLAIM that ALL Republicans alienate Latinos, gays, Lesbians, etc.?

There is a difference you know.

We've seen this very same thing play out to a faux poutrage without substance with the alleged Republican war on women.

It's political talking / attack points form the DNC, typically without substance, only to be often parroted by the Biased Lame Stream Media (BLSM), who are all in the tank for Obama and the Democrats, so hardly worthy of being believed.

I never claimed all Republicans alienate these groups. I simply claimed that Republicans have a tendency to alienate groups because of moronic representatives (Like Herman Cain and his not-funny-at-all jokes).

The question is why do me need so many "inquiries"? How many times does the Administration need to be exonerated before Issa gives up? We have had hours of testimony on what happened with no charges filed. Why don't they just file for impeachment if they have so much evidence? This will backfire on the GOP by the way.

Its due to BO and his Team and them not releasing records.....waiting to unclassify Records......as well as the Panel of Democrats that do all they can to deflect from the facts and the truth as to what was known and took place.

Also due to the Republicans not knowing how to go after those that sat in front of them lying their heads off.

Truthfully Hillary's Comment of What difference does it make......doesn't even come out of her mouth. If the Republican then is doing his job. As he could have just shut her up......and told her to answer the question. That all she just brought up.....doesn't mean a damn thing, now. The problem was that there were too many inquiries with different powers from each. Now this will all be consolidated into one.

We have seen that the WH has not been forthcoming in all the details and that much information has been redacted. This inquiry will have the power to get down to what really went on and it has to be good for the American people to learn the truth of what really happened on that night, and the following cover-up, if there was one. It should not be political at all it the people are genuinely concerned about the interests of their own country rather than that of politicians.

Heya Grant :2wave: .....well really any of the other committees could not call for measures to be dealt with at anytime. This is why the Select Committee worries the Democrats. They know now.....any lies. Measures can be taken immediately.

Which if you look in the other Benghazi thread and what I have up......its all that's needed to make Cummings look like an Absolute Fool. Which I would do and have no trouble doing to him Publicly and in front of that Camera.

Theres no need to speculate. What we know is not consistent with the White Houses testimony-and that alone warrants further investigation. And as far as what we dont know, theres much that this investigation, like who pushed the video? The White House says the CIA, the CIA has shown it did not, and now information released only under threat of litigation also contradicts the white house line.

Other than Obama and puke saying so, it seems there's new wrinkles coming out every day showing the White House is no more capable of the truth on this than "you can keep your plan.."

They had this little gem buried since it happened....it had to be pried from their cold, lying hands.

It will be over when some of these questions get answered and we here more than the insulting "What difference does it make?"

Absolutely, the White House could cooperate and provide the facts but they wont. Frankly the dems know this fall is going to sting, and perhaps they are hoping that this Benghazi thing might make the republicans less popular. They are playing politics, much as they did when they left 4 Americans to die, on 9/11, by Al Qaeda-and all for political gain.
