I don't think getting lied to makes someone incompetent. I just think it means they were deceived.
Yeah, the least likely, seeing as there have been IG reports on the VA going back some time now....What a joke Obama is....

"Outraged" over Sandy Hill, Benghazi, gay marriage, voter registration, North Korea's missile launches, China's hacking, gun control, now the VA, end result no change, nothing, nada.

So, you are trying to have us believe that Obama didn't know what was going on at the VA....Yeah, not so much...

President Obama’s transition team was warned in 2008 that repeated audits showed the Veterans Affairs Department was misreporting wait times for medical treatment, including one audit revealing delays nearly 10 times worse than the department was officially acknowledging.

The situation was so bad that the inspector general said it stopped trying to police the issue until the VA could prove its information was accurate — raising a red flag for the transition team, according to documents obtained by The Washington Times.

But yeah, keep going with that lie....

That, IMO is the problem, that and knocking others(particularly our President) without them being around to debate and refute..
I am a patient of the VA medical system...at least it is affordable is clumsy and slow at times...It can be improved....the director of the VA can listen to some patients(but not me, damnit)...
BTW, its the job of Congress to do these things (improve), NOT the President. We need a Democratic Congress with Democratic control in the House....the tea baggers must go !
And, Shrub, do you have just one good idea as to improving our VA ?
I do ...I think their communications can be better, right now, it is stifled by conservatism and excessive security.
I am a vet as well. I use the VA once a year so they get funding for me showing up.

One issue that has not even been mentioned is there is an extreme difference in care and services state to state in the VA system. Your care in PA may be far greater than a vet in Louisiana. The VA system should go away and the vets should have the ability to see local doctors for care that is reimbursed by the VA. Just like ACA, medicare...

Oh, and obviously a Television, because that is literally how he finds out about these things....

While I agree, can you imagine the progressive attack against Republican's had they proposed doing away with the VA, or cutting funding in favor of this?

The other problem with demanding resignations is that people can learn from their mistakes and are less likely to make the same mistakes again, as opposed to bringing in someone new and having the same mistakes made as under previous leadership.....which appears to be the case here.
The VA is not part of the military. A majority of the people working at/for the VA are in fact civilians. Some are National Guard or Army Reserve, but their employment at the VA is at a civilian capacity.
